As kenzu said, fighters cannot attack sams, only units that are in the AIR

sams will also target helis/bombers first
IF the sams have any power left, THEN they will attack fighters

I find it very interesting that every combat report ends with "All enemy SAM sites have to be destroyed first" obviously this is wrong and needs to be corrected.

It also highlights the need for some decent intelligence reporting especially while testing.

ok, that's more of a display issue. I'll look at fixing that somehow

atm I solved it simply by checking if you destroy anything from the target at all.
if they have no factories/aircraft/whatever to destroy then it comes up negative and assumes you didn't destroy sams

In each attack my fighters were involved, but I lost no fighters to sams, nor did I use any fighter munition. Is this supposed to happen?

I did these attacks in rapid succession 1 after another, then went back & reviewed the info contained. I have had to rebuild both helicopters & bombers & the ammo for both, but not for the fighters... If this is normal, please disregard this post & my apologizes...


please note the marked above, the second mission states "attack air force with helicopters" if you will note above the second mission states I used Bombers, sorry for the inconvenience, but it took me and several other players to figure out there was a problem there. I am not sure where exactly, but something is amiss... thank you for your attention. If it would be helpful, I will do another mission to see if I get the same results

bug against airforce mission that targets airforce, once defending SAMs are destroyed. I destroyed enemy at a ratio 1.94:1 (kill to loss ratio), while according to calculated estimate I should had a ratio of 1.18:1

Here an info for all players looking for bugs:
If in any mission you destroy more than 150% of what you lose, then there is a bug. Same applies to missions where you lose more than 150% of what you destroy.

If Generation 6 units fight against Generation 1, then the ratio should be 1.5 to 1, for all smaller differences, the ratio has to be smaller!

This bug has been fixed. reason why I couldn't notice it sooner was that it only worked with higher levels and certain conditions

as of now the kill ratios should be fixed

There seems to be an issue with the prices on the starport page, as it was costing me 140,000,000/14,000,000 to build weapons/munitions... now it is showing the cost as being 120,000,000/12,000,000, if this is supposed to be then disregard this message. I just found it & thought I would ask.

There's an issue with the Attack Ground Forces mission

The battle logs report that Attack & Defense units and Attack & Defense Weapons have been destroyed however spy logs show that the only losses inflicted on the defender were related to Weapons while the numbers of Attack and Defense units remain unchanged

Well it looks like you have altered / fixed the coding but the results of my last ground force attack are interesting and it appears there is still issues to be addressed.

Defenders Forces before attack

From the details of the attack log.

List of killed units:

0 Attack Mercenaries

0 Defense Mercenaries

Defenders forces after attack

Attack Mercenaries 0
Defense Soldiers 827,945
Defense Mercenaries 0

The defender is inactive in test and has no airforce. There are two issues apparent to me from this test.

1. The defenders forces increased instead of decreasing

2. The amount of damages done was pitiful with the amount of munition used not even equaling 10% of the number of units sent on the Attack.

I would have expected to have seen something along the lines of the following. If you send 5000 Helicopters on a ground forces mission against an opponent with no defenses then really you should be firing 5000 rockets not less than 500

At a cost of 5AT and 8 ST compared to 5AT and 5ST for an Assault Mission it makes the Airforce very costly and very ineffective

What you lose is based on what you kill, not on what you send,,,, remember the losses have to be = so if you send 1000 times what is needed all that extra power is wasted and useless

Not really a bug, but a little oddity on my Spy log:
Under Armory Weapons, Attack Weapons are posted next to Defense and vice versa.
It's a bit confusing if you don't know about it.

I think this could be related to the later airforce update, where the layout has somewhat changed.
