New alliance information page

After Manleva took a few hours to put together a nice chart of TMs farming we would like to ask for a new page within the allinace section. I would also suggest making it so everyone in the allinace could see that page.

The idea is
1. have a start date and end date selection, I was thinking an input box would work.
2. have it listing everyone just like the Member Economic Info, Member Military Info pages do
3. have it show, total kuwal, Avg per 10 Ats, Avg per AT, Total UU losses, Total weapons cost losses, then another table beside that showing total UU raided, Avg per 10 Ats, Avg per AT, Total UU losses and Total weapons cost losses.

That way people can get a sense of what they are farming/raiding for and what there losses are to see if they need to improve.

to go 1 step further, could we get all of the alliance logs in a download-able format?
As for a time delay like everything else, maybe 12 hours after they happen.

attack logs aren't dropped.
I used the same type of concept back when I was in tie for the farming/raiding contest

I don't know much about coding but it seems difficult to do all that

Actually all the codes are done.

What we want are already done different places.

Under ME you can see who you farmed for KUWAL and how much total as well as who farmed you.

Under LOGS you have the rest of the info including your ME.

Basicly only thing missing since even tho logs are removed over time are they still kept on the server to make a page that call upon the info and ad them.

So the code it self are there it just need to be used differently to do this.

Wouldnt it be enough to have a page to see stats on the server, such as average hit (how much kuwal, how much defense)

average raid and so on.

No it wouldn't be enough.
We aren't looking for what the global avg is.
We are looking at our allinace to make sure that they aren't hurting themselves.

Global stats for the whole server are not what we are after. The average hit with 0 def is simple to get but an average hit with non zero def is different because you need to make allowance for the units lost which means giving them a value which opens up a whole complete different discussion.

Seas request is fairly simple but I don't think it will provide much more than a simple overview. Having just done what Se is requesting for our alliance it is immediately obvious that there is a lot of valuable information in most of the alliance attack logs, but currently it is a very long and frustrating process to gather the details for all alliance members before you can actually do any analysis of them and the larger the alliance gets the more frustrating it becomes. While I did it for TM it's not something I would have done if I was in WR because it is far to time consuming.

Initially I was thinking of asking Admin for some additional screens to be made available that showed the currently available information on an alliance wide basis. This would mean taking the current information for all alliance members for each type of log and combining it into a single loge for each type. They would be ordered by date and one additional field identifying the member would be required. While the data required is currently available Admin would has a bit of work to do as screens would have to be built to display the information.

I have since rethought my idea and while I would still like to have information in alliance wide log files I think it would be much easier if it were provided in a delimited file for download. This would remove the need for additional screens to be built to display the information and moves the work of analysis to the alliance leadership.

How easy or hard this would be depends on how Admin is storing this information in the database. From the look of the different logs it appears that the most likely was it is stored is that all of the data is in one table (or possibly different tables for the different actions) and what individuals see are merely subsets if the data. This means we are basically only asking for a different subset of the existing data. There is also the possibility that data may be available for members who change alliances if membership is captured with the action.

I'll give you that as we hardly ever see Admin around. He's been very good in the past at making promises but actual delivery appears to be elusive, one only has to look at Evolutions.

To much work, well I'm not sure how you come to that conclusion. Sea has asked for nothing more that a simple table that displays summary information on alliance members farming and raiding.

I asked for the ability to be either able to see Alliance members military logs on an alliance basis not a member by member basis or to make it even simpler being able to get the information in a downloadable file so that Admin does not have to create screens to display the information.

Neither of these suggestions is actually asking for any data that is not currently available or used. In fact if you think on it for a moment you will realise that these are essentially very basic things. If Admin can do all the work for PTR then this is a no brainer.

One of the points made was that the download option was not available to everyone but was a feature available to the Alliance Leadership and advisers only.

It is a means where by they can download the information that is currently available to them for later analysis rather than having to spend a considerable amount of time to do manually.

That's good to know but I seriously doubt that you would want do do any of this sort of analysis on a mobile.
In reality you would want to be loading the data into a spreadsheet or a database or something like Sea's tool site to be able to get anything beneficial.

As an Adviser you will be aware of the data we want and will know just how hard and time consuming it is to gather currently with how it is displayed.
To be honest I would have thought that Kenzu would have seen a lot of benefit in this given the size of WR. Coming up with what I have done for TM so far was bad enough and if I was in WR then I would never have even considered it.
