Under the cover of night, your xxxxxxxxxxx spies sneak into so and so 's headquarters.

Your spies move stealthily through so and so 's base undetected. They are able to gather some documents and informations. Your Chief of Intelligence provides you with the information gathered:


there could be an option to lead false trails, false documents to be "found" by spies
to make findings different than they realy are they wouldnot have to be sucseful all of the time (they realy should fail most ofthe time) depending on covert lvls lvls id say
it could look like this when you spy

i realize this COULD be a compleetly retarded idea but with a few add ons and more detales added whatever i could be a good idea

worth considering just thing is that all someone would need to do is spy more often or have 2-3 people double check reports

well it does make more sense of receiving inaccurate information than knowing with 100% certainty that you either got currect information or none at all lol

yes the 2-3 times thing (but sometimes you have to do that anyway)

this game is int some simple completely unrealistic crap like i see in other games
it is constantly updated to replicate that what would really (or could really) happen in war and people if known they were being spied on would definitely try to cover up things and make other things look bigger (at a cost)



aso a faild recon attempt should put the defending persons covert on guard and watching for spies (make it harder to spy them twice if they got caught)

there could be lvls involved in this each one alowing 1 false trail at higher lvls you could have a few false trails for each stat (this would be very expensive) meaning theyd have to spy alot and use there brains to figure out the truth

slso if the spy-ers covert is significantly higher they would be far less likely to take the bait

well look basically the covert power you have is how much your covert agents can fend off if someone tries to sabotage you, they already do their rounds guarding your realm and armory, not much more they can do.

You can increase their awareness by turning on realm alert.

Or you meant something along the line if there's a sabotage attack/failed recon on you that your spies get a temporary boost as they will try to be even more weary of suspicious behavior?
Might be a good idea but in that case the % how much you sab would need to get upped since it would result that each mission you need to send more spies to remain being successfull

with a little tweaking it could be a verry good idea


now im thinking the decoys should have to be purchased for each stat desired to hide each one being one time use with the most you can have out depending on the lvl you have in (whatever his ends up being called) lvls being pretty expensive but not outrageous and the decoys themselves being moderately priced (but a little high) basically this isint something you'd always be using accepting when its necessary

i like this idea, however if implemented then the covert capacity needs increased, as we would likely start using more like 5 turns to spy someone to get an accurate count, which means 12 targets a day and your covert is gone for a day and half.... may another tickbox in research centre to increase max covert ops?

i think this would be for the best, maby force a little alliance/empire cooperation
