Aderan Raiding Policy
Introduction:
This policy is in effect from the day it will be signed.
Aderan Raiding Policy
To raid units, only raid attacks are allowed.
Massing someone to crush defenses and steal units is from now on FORBIDDEN!
This means that assault, sabotage and assassination missions are not allowed!
Explanation:
Even if a player didn't log in for 14 days, you are not allowed to mass his defenses to raid his untrained.
And it doesn't matter if he has 50.000 untrained units or 500.000.
Defenses gradually fall, and if a player stays inactive long enough, they will fall to zero one day.
This policy will save players who went inactive for a week or even longer from much damage.
Afterall if too much is destroyed, they might decide to leave the game.
EDIT: corrected grammar mistakes
------------------------------------------------------------------
World Republic Stance
I, Keinutnai, leader of World Republic sign Aderan Raiding Policy on behalf of World Republic.
If anyone masses a player with the intention to steal untrained, he will have to pay a compensation to the victim, equal to 100% of all lost resources (military units lost, weapons lost, untrained). World Republic will help victims get their resources back. If the attacker doesn't want to pay back, his action are an equivalent to a declaration of war, and thus World Republic will fight back.
If you became victim of a massing raid, please contact WR leadership. We will help you!

Re: Aderan Raiding Policy
I m glad to see the above policies implemented by FIRE and World Republic - they are strong steps in the right direction
TIE's policy is as always - massing's other than for the purpose of war are wrong - so very similar to the above (i.e. such as massing someone in order to farm/ raid them being wrong).

O.K. Kong is confused... are we changing the rules of the game? does everyone have to go by this Aderan Raiding Policy?
It sounds to me like it should read World Republic Raiding Policy; IDK, besides I been saying for months now, with the excess of inactive accts. why does anyone have to Farm/raid any active players? unless they want to get something stirred up...?

Re: Aderan Raiding Policy
They aren't going after 'Active' they are going after people who have so many days worth of UP out. Say you UP is 10k and you have 140k UU out in theory you have been inactive for 14 days.

Re: Aderan Raiding Policy
Let me get this straight, Raiding by itself is allowed but weakening defences for the purpose of raiding is not allowed. I'm just making sure i understand this correctly so i don't unknowingly violate this policy.Kenzu wrote:Introduction:

you can't sab or assassinate to lower the def to raid them, if you can break them then raid them, just remeber the cost of uu/weapons/training.

Yes, you understand the policy right.
If you raid properly, there is no problem. The only problem with raiding arises if you weakened defenses with assaults, sabbing or assassinations before.
This Policy will basically not affect 95% of Aderan playerbase
(5% being people who planned on massing+raiding and people who became inactive and returned to the game.)

Well its also only a WR and FIRE policy, the thread name is misleading as it most definitely does not apply to everyone. Just those who sign or agree with said policy.

But it should be noted that since WR and FIRE signed it, it applies for many. Afterall WR and FIRE have roughly 50% of all active players.
It won't apply only in cases where both the attacker and the victim are not members of this policy, which is quite unlikely.
(Statistical odds that this happens are only 1/4)

Still doesn't change the fact the thread title is misleading. Plus committed members must have the integrity to enforce said policy, not just sign it.

He is trying to tell you that your title the way it is written is saying that it is server wide, when it is only a handful of alliances, the players don't mean squat.

Re: Aderan Raiding Policy
you are changing the name of the thread and only Fire and WR have signed it.
Here are the top 15 alliances...
1 The.Imperium.Empire
2 World_Republic_(O)
3 Mujengan_(FIRE)
4 Emperors
5 POHIDA
6 New Federation (FIRE)
7 Brothers In Arms
8 Black_Dragons
9 Paispe
10 Dark Dominium Warlords
11 Night Stalkers
12 Comitatus Unius
13 NPO(O)
14 One_Nation_Under_a_Groove
15 The Company
Out of the top 15 who signed it?
2 World_Republic_(O)
3 Mujengan_(FIRE)
I know with alliances/pacts all parites have to sign so i don't know if the following are part of it since the way it was signed by some
6 New Federation (FIRE)
so...........
2.5 alliances, hell not even all of O or Fire has put there name to it.
I may push for 'other' treatments. I know players that would fight for saying something about them being slow. Or are looking for the smallest reason for 'fun'. We are asking you to fix the title of the thread so that others in the player base know and understand that this isn't game policy. That it is agreed by some players. Also some might find it a bit odd also since you are admins brother they may mistake that.

Does this mean that if any of the people that have signed this treaty break it the person will be punished?
Few questions then. Who will be in charge of carrying out the punishments? If this treaty is broken is it okay to break another treaty such as the military defensive treaty that FIRE and O have to carry out the punishment?
If the answer is no to that second question then what is the point of this treaty in the first place? If it will be permited to break the second treaty you will pretty much neglect the MDT. Either way your treaties contradict.
That is why I personally wouldn't sign. Others may have different reasons.
Perhaps you could reword one of the treaties to include the other one or explain situations where exceptions would be made.
