Are you talking about the Trade Center? or the Galatic Market? judging by Admins previous response I think Trade Center, but I need you to explain a bit more indepth as ATM I do not understand your post, besides it sounds like you want to force "nonsmokers" to pay taxes on tobacco products, some players either rarely or never use either so (I'll say it) why should they pay a tax on something they do not use? If this were something to be seriously considered, I would think that a "per use" tax for individuals would be a better proposition, JMO...

thank you for clearing that up, now as I do not use the trade center, because I place a very high value on the ability to go on protection, could you please explain to me why a player with SS would opt to use the Trade center? (non SS players have to use the Trade center if they want to trade) as I cannot think of a reason & am very curious to know...

It was suggested that alliance taxes of this nature be used to fill the market, but the discussion didnt go anywhere.


@ Admin, Thats why I say it, yes the packages are way to small for people over the GAAS.

and you want aliances to have les an advantage... ia adume as yyou asked if people wanted to see aliance size limmits..well this would be better for all

and if you were coding an alliance tax anyway wht not slap on an alliance treasury and let the aliances tax even more if they wish

Odd that you want to apply Taxes only to the Trade Centre thus penalizing the small Non SS players while leaving the SS players who are the large traders unpenalized.

I am not against Taxes per say but they need to be applied fairly and to everyone

There is no reason to fill the market.
It will shift the prices away from market prices.


If you think something on the market is too expensive, then sell it to the market.
If you think AT are too expensive, sell them to the market.
You don't want?
Then they are not too expensive.

The best way you improve the market is to get rid of the free turns possibility. If people can't get free resources from Market Trades, they will use the trade center more.

2)
Another good way is this:
decrease the spread from 145/150 buy price / sell price
to 150/150
Have 0% spread and it will improve the prices for everyone.

Buying and selling packages in the same size.



I agree with october17 that the market is useless though.
It's useless because there is no reason for me to buy its resources if i can get so many free resources instead.

October_17 did state in a previous post that he wanted all players, SS & non SS to have to pay the tax, whether that player used the Trade center or not...

another problem with the market, you can only get 1 quantity per mt... its not so much that the market is a bad deal, its more like the quantitys you can get are so small its not worth it to waiste the mt on before the current update i was spending market reserves on bank size, that was worth more to me
