Messages

Could you make them bold, they can be at times hard to read on the current background, playing with the HTML coding, making it bold makes it easier.

agreed. look at the difference. now isn't that easier to read and less strain on my precious eyes idk about you guys but i like my eyesight. (no offense to the blind people reading this) LOL

it doesn't do much here, but the white text on the white in the background.

remind me in a week or two. I'm against making it bold by default, however I could add a link when reading a message something like "display all text in bold"
you click it and the message gets shown in bold.

if i'm still alive by then i'll add it.

maybe you could add a option to turn it on or off for all messages instead (in acc settings)

maybe add a div like you have for the message box. I agree wtih making it bold by default but I think something would help.
btw admin shouldn't you be in bed?

if you'd need it for messages it might aswell get turned on then for notes and motd's, etc.

there's an infinite amount of things i could make to be in the acc settings.

and no sea, i'm doing overtime this week. The next 3 days are summarized:
6-8 hours sleep at home
2 hours on public transport to university and back
4-9 hours spent at lectures/uni (1-2 hours sleeping during those)
3-5 hours spent on RA server
3 hours doing random stuff (eating, watching movies, preventing my head from blowing)
3 hours Studying for the 4 hour written exam friday morning
1-3 hours for other AW duties (forum, ingame, database)

believe it or not but like many students, i need the pressure :/ at least every day I see visible progress

well sounds like you have your schedule booked lol. anyways, whatever you decide to do with it, im sure it will be better than what the current system is message wise.

oh, I would have killed someone with that kind a pressure.

The issue with getting "updates" done is not the coding. that one is relatively quick.

The problem is actually figuring out HOW it should work and WHAT should actually be possible to accomplish.
Basically numbers, formulas, layout, balancing.
That takes up I'd say 70% of the time
The other 20% is planning how the code should handle it and how data gets stored in database.
The last 10% is the actual coding, bugfixes, etc.

Basically if someone came to me and said they have airforce figured out in detail, i could be done with it by sunday evening.

@ Admin, well,,,,,, when we suggested stuff in our threads you stated what you wanted. so its hard for us to spend days or weeks designing something for you to not like, basicly YOU need to decide what it can do, what you will allow it to do, then we might can do the rest, IDK

@ Admin, well,,,,,, when we suggested stuff in our threads you stated what you wanted. so its hard for us to spend days or weeks designing something for you to not like, basicly YOU need to decide what it can do, what you will allow it to do, then we might can do the rest, IDK

Why don't you put in what you think will work and let us try it for a little while and let us make suggestions as to what should be done? Then you can make changes and things with time. It all does not have to be perfect the very first time you code something lol. That's what you have us for
