Alliance messages

There should be a board (basically members can submit messages and maybe last 30 messages appear at once) in the alliance page, which members would be able to view and post messages on. The idea of this message board is to keep an ingame announcement section. Messages would be for example:

"Check our forums about new leadership"
"Focus on miners"
"Build your defenses"
"Who needs support"

and so on.

You mean like a chatbox? How can you be sure that it won`t be spammed and that all the members read the important messages?

My suggestion for this would be an "Announcements Board" where the leaders can post the important news, guidelines, etc
This will be much more suited than sending "Alliance messages" which can be lost, or deleted before being read.

well if there's a problem with getting it spammed that's up to every individual alliance to organize themselves.

that's like arguing 2ic shouldn't be allowed to boot people because someone chose a noob as 2ic of his alliance who then booted everyone else.

But making 2 separate (one for leadership only and one for everyone) chatboxes would be no problem either

Can't the leadership just send an alliance wide PM ? It's a lot more "in your face" than posting on the alliance "whateveryoucallit". That's what forums are for, ain't it ?

PM all members can only be used by the leader, and thats seems ok.
sure the forum can seem like the same thing, but not everybody will take the time to log in the forum and invest themselves. This offered options seems good since it is faster acces in game. It should include Commanders offers page from same alliance

it would be a fast way not only for the leader to send messages without flooding inboxes but also a good way for other members responding and to see the mood of the members in the alliance.
