idle units on covert report.

Is there a particular reason there's no info on Idle units on the covert report page? It took a long time to notice they weren't there.

Idle units are as I understand it "protected" from being raided; therefore they are hidden on covert reports, that is why you cannot see them...

Ok, I was pretty sure i posted this in the FAQs section. Not sure how it ended up here.

Anyhow, by that logic you shouldn't see "farmers" either since they are protected from raids as well. The covert report even shows their power levels for everything, all the weapons, and their tech levels. It doesn't make sense the spies kind get all that information and not the info for idle units.

If one really wants to know it's easy anough to do the math from their subtracting all other units from the total army size. Still, it just makes sense that everything else is on the covert report, why not the idle units too?

idle units didnt exist when the game started, actually they are rather new. The spy reports have just never been recoded to include them.

As for subtracting, well population size is also effected by brokers.

Thanks Nomad, and looks like this was moved to the proper section. I figured the story was something like that, but I have read some of the thread that kicked off the creation of idle units.

The idea that brokers affected total pop size never cross my mind. Interesting.

I think it wouldnt hurt if we see idle units in the covert report as well
