At the moment I think those that are playing on the test server are basically only farming an investing in the new airforce units while we wait for Admin to release or implement coding so that we can actually use them

I have already added a pm blacklist function, reversing the decision to buy aircraft and selling stuff on starport. But didn't write anything yet since it doesnt do much in terms of we need to test next

working on the missions now

cool about the block, also like the fact you don't have to have a message from them to block them.

yes first I only did the block when reading a message.

then I figured it'd be dumb, so when I made the page where it listed the blocked users I just added 2 lines to ban anyone.

also for clarity sake, i'll explain

blacklist should only work on direct pm's as well as forwards
alliance and officer pm\s should work even if sender is blacklisted

Quick question, does the "banned" person know he is banned? Does he get a message saying "Your communications with XXX seem to have failed" or something? Or would they just be sending PM over an extended period not knowing they are blocked? Just curious.

even before they send a message instead of the send button they will see red bold text saying they are blocked

and obviously should they somehow manage to still send it (usually form manipulation and similar) they will get error message
