Looking for help figuring losses
As I am in the mood to work on site work again. I need some help I need to find out how to figure losses for different attacks.
1. Hunt assassins
- What is the loss of atk units when fighting def+assassin action?
I know it isn't the same as the standard hits
2. Invasion
- What is the loss of atk units, is it the same as a raid/farm or an assault?
3. Destruction
- What are the losses?
I see that it says that the def is like a normal raid/farm hit
So does that mean that when you hit when you go up aganst the def you also take normal losses?
How do you figure the losses for your atk units when hitting the workers and miners?

assault, destruction (if you bypass defense, otherwise it's just 1.5%) 5% losses
invade, hunt 1.5% base losses
invasion, workers 30 power, miners 45 power
hunt assassins, assassin action added to defense

Re: Looking for help figuring losses
What do you mean if you bypass the def?Admin wrote:assault, destruction (if you bypass defense, otherwise it's just 1.5%) 5% losses
So assault is you lose 5% they lose 4%
With destruction it is
Your strike vs their def = 2% base
Your strike vs their strike = your losses 5% they lose 4% and their strike is only 70% of the normal strength as they have a 30% penalty.
How does your (atk/def)^0.5 get figured in this?
Invasion isAdmin wrote:invade, hunt 1.5% base losses
invasion, workers 30 power, miners 45 power
hunt assassins, assassin action added to defense
Your strike takes 1.5% losses
You fight there ((workers*30)+(miners*45))
Does there def action get added here or just bypassed?
what is there def losses if it is added or hit first what is the losses it takes?
How does your (atk/def)^0.5 get figured in this?
Hunt assassins is
Your strike takes 1.5% losses
You fight def action + assn action
what are the losses for the def?
How does your (atk/def)^0.5 get figured in this?

Sea if you still need help here I'm sure we can set up some kind of practical field test on some accounts. I wouldn't want any payment ( @ Steve hehe).

Re: Looking for help figuring losses
assault: (att/def) ^ .5 = adjustment
supers x .05 / adjustment = losses on your side
supers x .04 x adjustment = losses on his side
destruction: (att-opp defense /(att * .7) ^ .5 = adjustment
supers x .05 / adjustment = losses on your side
((def supers x .002 x adjustment) + att supers x .04 x adjustment) = losses on his side
hunt assassins:(att / (def+AA) ^ .5 = adjustment
supers x .015 / adjustment = losses on your side
((supers x .015 x adjustment) + assassins x .04 (divide by adjustment only if you lose the hunt mission)) = his losses.
Not 100% sure how much the assassins killed % goes down when you lose a mission
are these close to what they are admin?

Re: Looking for help figuring losses
well ok, the adjustment is (def/att) ^0.5
which then makes assault
supers x .05 x adjustment = losses on attacker side
supers x .04 / adjustment = losses on defender side
destruction has 2 steps
attack vs def (1.5% loss of attacker, 0.75% loss of defender)
def/att ^ 0.5 = adjustment
supers x .015 x adjustment = losses on attacker side
supers x .0075 / adjustment = losses on defender side
then remaining attack power vs defender attack *0.7 * realm alert modifier (see updates page couple months back)
defatt/(att-def)^0.5 = adjustment
supers x .05 x adjustment = losses on attacker side
supers x .04 / adjustment = losses on defender_strike side
hunt assassins and invasion works as assault except defense power is increased by assassin action or miner/worker power (given a few posts above)
if you have less power than defense then you kill proportionately less targeted units, attack/defense losses follows the standard formula
which then makes assault

Re: Looking for help figuring losses
So the adjustments never change no matter what attack you use. I see. Thanks for the help. Wow. I never knew you could do that. I was wondering why ish said he used a destruction mission to check realm alert lol

Re: Looking for help figuring losses
With the first bold I am guessing that you have to figure out their atk power, the normal 70% strength or the 102% strength. Then that is used in the next calculation of the adjustment.Admin wrote:destruction has 2 steps

I am guessing defatt means the defenders strike.
att-def means your attack minus defenders defense as you hit with what is left.
is the adjustment the same?Admin wrote:hunt assassins and invasion works as assault except defense power is increased by assassin action or miner/worker power (given a few posts above)

(def/att) ^0.5
or
((def+extra action)/att) ^0.5

Re: Looking for help figuring losses
"all yes" to the first part and "the second" to the second part
though adjustment only refers to attack and defense units killed.
assassins and income units get killed, as mentioned proportionately. i.e. if your attack is 50 mil, and their combined power ends up being 100 mil.
Then if normally you could have killed up to 2k units, you'll only end up killing 1k

Re: Looking for help figuring losses
So the amount you kill when you lose is based on the % you lose by? ok gotcha.

Re: Looking for help figuring losses
ok I am trying to figure this out but something isn't right...
I have used an assault that I had made for testing to see if I had missed something.
Here are the details.
My Strike: 7,714,706,186
My Supers: 198,712
Enemies Def: 85,442,039
Enemies Units: 12,260
So I did the following math:
Adjustment = sqrt(85,442,039/85,442,039)
Adjustment: 0.10523885313489
My losses = ((198,712*0.05)*0.10523885313489)*0.7(hit and run)
My losses = 732(which matches ingame.)
Enemies losses = ((12,260*0.04)/0.10523885313489)*.8(normal def, but I used hit and run)
Enemies losses = 3,728(which is way off from ingame, 878)
in order for me to get the same losses that were figured ingame I had to change that 0.04 to 0.00942.
