What do you think about a research fund?

Instead of saving up a lot of kuwal to buy expensive research, you can simply deposit yellow or green kuwal into research fund.
This kuwal cannot be taken out, but can be spent on any research you make.

If there is for example a research which costs 20 billion and your bank can only hold 10 billion, you could deposit kuwal into research fund until you got 20 billion there, even if it took you 2 weeks or a month and then you would be able to research much more expensive research?

why stop the use of yellow kewal just to come up with a different way of doing the same thing? To me its an unnecissary step, but the idea is ok in itself. Just dont understand the idea of creating a limiter and then creating a way around the same limiter?

either way, i'm fine with it if thats how you want to do it.

or why not make it so each particular research can be paid out over time, you keep putting money into it untill its finished, then avoid having two banks.

This sounds like you will have de facto 6 banks or more. The way you say it is that you will be placing your kuwal in different areas, which all have to be recorded until the research is made, so what if I place 1 billion in defense weapons and 1 billion in attack weapons? You want the system to remember how much has been placed where, or do you rather have the system remember a single number, that 2 billion have been invested for research.

I think the best thing will be if bank can be temporarily overfilled, OR research will allow you to spend also yellow (home planet) kuwal.

before it could be overfilled to any amount without restrictions when you farmed, but could not be overfilled by depositing kuwal
(only farmed kuwal can overfill it)

ok, I see the difference now.

Now that people can take out more from the bank than limit (even though it's only for the duration of one turn), there is no need for a research fund.
