Special Resource Trading Empty Special Resource Trading

Everyone starts with 3 special resources and in total there are 24 special resources. Everyone can have access to all 24 special resources if he finds enough partners. Theoretically everyone can have all of them, however players who have a more rare race will have it easier to find trading partners since there will be less of their race-specific resource in the galaxy than from the more common ones. This will contribute to a more balanced world with similar number of players playing for each race.

When logging in for the first time, any player can join any of the 8 races and there will be a percentage that will show how many % of players play for each race to help you choose the more rare race. As in Aderan Wars, the races will be balanced.

Special resources will give following bonuses:

attack +5%
defense +5%
covert +7%
assassin +6%
income +1.5%
unit production +1.5%
market trades per week +2

why are you posting this now and the game doesnt launch until later?

Please find a better name, like SGW has main, ascended, Quantum, and Chaos, having AW 1, 2, 3, 4, etc, etc is rather bland

I hope your not planing to house all these games on the same forums, and if so PLEASE make it where you can hide the sections for the games you dont play as it cuts down on useless information.

It has been posted now so that people get heads up on what is comming.

Aderan Wars is name of the game, not name of the server. Each server will have its own name, including main server.

OK? I didnt get that at all

So when you type in www . aderanwars. com you come up to a page that lists the different games by name such as

This is obviously not how it is going to remain forever.
All servers will get proper names soon.

No not really

What your saying is they will all be accessable from the same page, but each game will get a unique name right?
example
Battle Server (No Resets) = main
Quantum Server (Faster Pace) = reset
Inception server (stratigic pace) = new game
Genocide Server (hack&slash pace) = new game

such as that?

so Aderan wars main server will get a new name as well right?

Ok, my question is how are these resources used to achieve said bonuses? I assume they are used/burned up? Just seeing the idea the first thing that pops into my mind is nost alliances will start out with 8 members, one of each race.

Ok, my question is how are these resources used to achieve said bonuses? I assume they are used/burned up? Just seeing the idea the first thing that pops into my mind is nost alliances will start out with 8 members, one of each race.

You can imagine it this way. There is a nation, and each nation has access to 3 special resources, and they can produce enough to provide not only for themselves, but also for other nations. They can provide 21 resource slots to other nations, which means that they could give all 3 resources let's say to 5 nations, end up with 6 resource slots, and some other nations which already have 1 of their resources, would need only 2, and so the nation could provide another 3 trades to nations who trade with only 2 resources.

Each player can decide which resources he wants to offer and which resources he is looking for.

Trading with resources means that they are being constantly traded, and as long as they are traded, the nations have access to it, thus gain the bonuses, as soon as the trade ends, they will not have access to the resource anymore.

And you are right, it's recommended that an alliance has members of all 8 races, because then it will be easier for them to secure all race-specific resources. For allianceless players it's recommended to consider which races are more rare, as joining them will make it easier to find trading partners.

Also, players who become inactive will automatically end all trades after not logging in for 30 days.

interesting, i see there only being 1, 2, or maybe 3 alliances in the entire game, thats the only real drawback, it kills lone wolves all together

No one forbids lone wolves to trade with each other and to trade with alliances. It's highly unlikely that an alliance can provide all resources to everyone in the alliance. For that to happen an alliance would need multiples of 8 people, each having unique special resources. This is highly unlikely. We got race-specific and unique resources. There are 16 unique resources and each player gets only 2. The chance of getting the 2 unique resources you want is only 12.9%, therefore an alliance will usually trade also with other alliances and lone wolves. Also, while alliances might not trade with certain alliances out of political reasons, lone wolves can trade with whoever they want if they are perceived as being neutral. The only reason why someone might not trade with you is that he is hostile to you.

the 2 explinations you just provided contridict each other in the numbers you provided.

Also, ALL alliances will keep ALL resources inside itself, the only way it will trade away resources to an outsider is to get a specific resource, and thats not going to happen often, atleast thats how I see it happening.

How do the numbers contradict?

Imagine you are still missing a resource, which the alliance cannot provide for you, but you found a player outside your alliance who has the resource and would like to trade with you. If you trade with him, you will gain +5% attack bonus. Will you not do it?

No one forbids lone wolves to trade with each other and to trade with alliances. It's highly unlikely that an alliance can provide all resources to everyone in the alliance. For that to happen an alliance would need multiples of 8 people, each having unique special resources. This is highly unlikely. We got race-specific and unique resources. There are 16 unique resources and each player gets only 2. The first quote you say everyone gets 3 special resources with a total of 24 special resources, and in the second you say everyone gets 2 special resources with a total of 16 special resources.

Hence why I said they contradict.
