Christmas present and a market update

1) Will give everyone 60 days Trading ability (whoever already has it, gets an extra 60 days)
[Whoever tries to abuse this will get severely punished, none of this "just remove some resources" but serious permanent banning]
2) People with permanent trading can chose between free 3 day protection or get 1 package worth of turns, kuwal AND untrained

3) over the next week, market packages will be going down in terms of amounts offered, reaching final value on Jan 1. Packages will shrink to about one sixth of current value.
This is intentional and is made to "force" people to interact with other players more to some extent.

4) cash market packages will not shrink

(How would someone abuse it though? I can't think of anyway off the top of my head, though it is christmas so I'm probably not thinking straight...)

(Also I would probably prefer the packages then the extra days even though I don't have permanent, but its still a great present! Thanks!)

How are we going to be getting ATs, I am sure active players will not be selling. Looking at the galactic market the prices are as follow and will go up and there only a few ATs for sale, 2000, at unrealistic prices.

Perhaps Doxakk is refering to the shrinking of the market packages, i.e. if they are 1/6 of their current size how are we supposed to get ATs, as even if we comunicate with other players, they probably wont be selling ATs.

right now, you can buy about 4 times more turns than you are actually able to burn through with farming and raiding.
So as you can see there's hardly a shortage

after trade packages are shrunk, assuming you're just raiding/farming, you can cover about 75% of your AT needs by using the ingame public market, the other 25% will have to come from people who decide to sell them (broker,forum,private market)


plus I fail to see the relevance of showing how there are no proper AT offers on the private market right now.
It's like living in the twenties, pointing at a car and saying you can't drive 200 km/h on that.

Bring up that argument in a month and if it's still valid, we'll consider tweaking the numbers

If you think 39 million is too much to pay for 10 AT, why don't you offer to sell yours at a cheaper price?

Galactic market opens up possibilities to earn from speculation and market price fluctuations.
Buy cheap, sell expensive.

The turns don't appear from nowhere.
The market packages will get smaller, which not only means you can buy less AT on the market, but other players can sell less AT on the market and that's why they will go to the GALACTIC MARKET to place an offer to sell their AT.

This will lead to more interesting trading, since everyone can decide what price they want to sell for.

could we get some sort of vote on shrinking the trade packages? So far nobody i talked to has thought this was a good idea.

Admin could you issue a poll like you did with the little pictures asking if people feel that that market packages should shrink?

bottom line was that the packages were too big, as I said before you could buy 4 times more AT's than you could actually use. So yeh, the trade center was broken

that's hardly the point of the ingame market, the point is to give some start to new accounts before they grow a bit so they can afford to pay someone for SS and can start trading with other people

about a poll, dont think we need one. I perfectly recognize that most people will initially think it's a bad update

I didn't had 'nething on the homepage, to know about it. And i don't want to beg for it, i'm just stating what i lost for not being informed.

The value of ST's have gone down substantially, I don't even think or trading them at all anymore, seeing that your can't private trade/galactic market them.

I think the ST amount per UU/Turn/Kuwal should fluctuate with the market as all the other resources do!

Thats just me, and as a note: I only sold them in Mass-upgrading my army =P
