Renaming Assassins into Special Forces

This change won't affect anything except how the current unit "assassin" is called.

For me assassins are something medieval and don't fit into a futuristic game, while special forces sounds better.

The main reason is however that assassins make me think they attack only, but you cannot use them to defend yourself.
If they would be renamed into special forces, it will be more clear for new players to train them even if they are defensive players, because their instinct will tell them, this is a unit they can use for defense and offense equally.

a good point, im no saying assasin is a bad name but speacial forces does have a nicer ring to it

They should be CyberNinja's, Spetsnaz, or well.. Jason Bourne.

Then again, having knives, machineguns, APC's and stuff is also *very* 20th century.
So if that would be the next logical step, then by all means, change them.

machine guns have been used in 19th century and also used now in the 21st century.

knives have been used for tousands of years.

I personally like my assassins.

MANY people have the wrong idea about assassins, and the very name often conjures the image of a hidden warrior clad in black sneaking through the shadows.

An assassin is anyone who kills another by any means. At night, or in broad daylight. In secret, or in public. with poisons and drugs, or with bullets and bombs. An assassin can be an expert who never gets caught, or a bumbling fool who doesnt get 3 feet from the crime.

The only factor needed to be an assassin is a premeditated murder of another.
