Permanent account deletion?
I suggest a delay. As for example 7 days.
It should not be deleted instantly (even though it has pop-ups).

Insults might warrant a temporary ban, but serious offences not.

Re: Permanent account deletion?
Wrong subject, kenz.
He means (accidental or hacked) manual deletion of one's own account.
Giving you 7 days to change your mind, style of thing.

Re: Permanent account deletion?
So that's what they meant. I doubt it to be added. If one decides to delete it, and then confirms the deletion. It's gone.

Look, the game cannot know if the person who logged in is the person who created it, or someone else who guessed his password.
All I can suggest is to use good passwords, ie passwords which have Capital and small letters and at least also numbers.

Yes I know, so that's why people including me suggested that the delete is a countdown instead of an immediate delete.Kenzu wrote:Look, the game cannot know if the person who logged in is the person who created it, or someone else who guessed his password.

(ok why did someone mistake me? Someone thought I suggested making the game able to find out who clicked the delete button by hacking the camera of something else. I didn't. I said you CAN'T do so.)
Yes, I know the person wants to delete the account immediately.
No, you don't know if that person really is the account owner.
No, the owner may not want to delete the account.
Just try to imagine a scenario that your parents don't want you to play. You are away from keyboard for a while to go to the toilet. Then your account is gone.
It is too simple to understand why we want a countdown.
I thought this is an area for posting suggestions for game developers, but instead the devs are suggesting us something else so that they don't have to work.

I'm guessing the IP might look-a-like. Right?
Seems like seaborgium lost 8.2 kilos in the meantime. Great news.

Yes, but it doesn't have to be. It's enough if the IP is in the same country, due to dynamic IP addresses, but I am not allowed to say too much related to this.
