Race Change

To change your race, extensive investments into genetic modifications have to be made:
The cost is expected to be: 1,754,835,111,339 Kuwal

All I have to say is WTF

Is there no other way to change race besides paying this ridiculously high amount?

I was thinking it would be a better idea, if instead of paying a lot, you could have your techs reset, get your money back (which would be saved separately), and this money can be used only on techs/technologies

You wouldn't be able to take it out or anything.

As long as you can't change race more often than once per month, there will be no problem with it.

What do you guys think?

right now, you pay double the amount that you SAVED by having the benefits of your race.
I would be willing to make it so that you pay only the amount that you saved, so basically halving the current cost.

in your case you would still pay 877 bil

well that explains why it is so high. I knew I shouldve asked this before invested a crapload into cov techs I don't really care what is done as changing my race at either one of those costs would be very hurtful to my acc. oh well.

especially considering 1.7tril is almost 15% of my current TOTAL ACC value.

Would work for all but haulu they get 2 or is it 3% off up too

Well, you will lose 1 of your possibilities to change race. Since you can change race only 2 times, I think its enough of penalty.

Yeah, the "fees" are the only limit. That change has been in place for a fairly long time.
