Comparable to MS/DV in sgw/tdw but will get a minor reworking.
Building hangars allows you to house fighters.
They come in 3 editions: offence balanced and defense
Anyone can buy any of these but you'll pick the type you want depending on your style and the purpose they are to achieve

Defence can absorb damage but not as good at supporting ground troops or destroying other fighters.
Offence is good at taking out other fighters but their increased firepower came at a cost of removing significant amounts of defensive capabilities.
Balanced fighters do well if you are an all-round player.

Later the Research Facility and Advanced Fighter Facotry will allow you to research and build improved versions of these fighters
