Private alliance market

Is it possible that we get a private alliance market that only alliance members can sell on? It can be exactly like the galactic market but the link will only be provided from the alliance home page.

You cant set trades up on forums. When selling bulk UU it would be easier to just put up 1mil on alliance market rather then getting 5 brokers at at time and slowly chip away at it.

I agree with admin and r1maru...

...and this "private market" would also make easyer for someone to make invisible the transfers from their "brother and sisters + uncles and aunts".

Most alliances (In Aderan as well as SGW + other games) use their forums and have no trouble, it is a system that works fine if your alliance is set up properly.

Well I disagree with R1maru, how is it discriminating? You have the Galactic Market so you can do the same. The problem with the GM is you can end up selling your goods to your enemy, and many don't want that.

@ Vesper ,,,The idea is a good idea, but is also makes things a bit to easy.

@ Nigatsu ,,,, would be no more invisible or abuseable then private trade broker. The trades would be easily spotted. A P 2 P trade may be lop sided such as 1 bill Kewal for 1 Kewal, but there should be no trades like that on an open market, they should all be legit as the person setting them up doesnt know who will accept them.

@ Alex,,, I agree but your missing the point Vesper made. It sucks to have to spend a day or two slowly chipping away and a large deal, especially when you online time is limited. Say you can only log in 2 times a day for 1 hr each. You are pretty much locked down to 10 trades a day. Thats what hes addressing. With the system he is asking for he could put his 1 mill UU on market and the alliance buy at leisure with no restrictions as he doesnt have to send a broker nor accept one.

one question: why do you think that Sinath made his alliance in dunewars?

Would be interesting to note the rates in the GM and AM. See how much they'd differ.
When setting up a trade on GM, you work with a competitive profit margin.
When setting up a trade on AM, you work with a more cooperative, less profitable margin.
So while the GM will spike during wars, allowing for huge profits and high-rising costs, the AM provides a very stable -and (for most alliances) limited- exchange.. I guess.


I agree with admin though.. use your alliance forums. If you feel that goes too slow, tell people you're not taking orders smaller as 1/3 of your stock. Oh well. R1, I need to talk to you asap.

I never knew Sinath in Dune wars nor ever played Dune Wars.

My question to you is,,,, Is the Admin of Dune wars anything like The Admin here? I do think that makes a signifigant difference.

As for the idea, I don't personally back it, As I said above it makes things really easy, But I see the point he is addressing with the idea and know it is an issue for players in that situation. Thats all.

The alliance market is in general a good idea, but it can be exploited so easily.

I prefer to keep all in the private market to increase liquidity and increase competition as much as possible.
