Add UP to ranked info.

I think that UP (unit production) should be involved in total rank, and have a rank of its own.


Example:

Attack Power 915 Ranked 515

Defense Power 150,000 Ranked 315

Covert Power 14,000,000 Ranked 135

Assassin Power 11,000,000 Ranked 214

Unit Production 1,500 Ranked 98

Total Power X amount

Total Rank 254


I think this might give a little 'Nudge' per say, to increase UP.

And it would add another twist on getting to #1

I've already said it in the other topic about AE rework.
economic growth is enough of an incentive to keep working on it.
Not gonna bother adding a rank to it.
As a matter of fact I really dont want to.

Its a very good idea to give a rank to that!

It can stay on the same line it is, just add a rank there.

afterall there is a huge lot of players who seem not to get that unit production is something that should be increased after reaching 1000.

I disagree, for more then 1 reason.

1. it slows/stops people from dropping rank to "hide" in the lower ranks

2. it will stop/slow new smaller people from ranking up as there is no way they can compete with accounts that are a year old, or 2, or 3. It will seriously handicapp new players rank wise.

No one said that UP will count towards rank.
Afterall only military stats count towards rank, not up and not income

Osyndicate merely said it would be good to see how far behind a player is. No need to relate it global rank.

One of us is reading it wrong is all I can say, because the first post says exactly what you say it doesnt, at least to me it does.

It's not like big guys are meant to ever do it anyway

I think the other point is far more important, think about it, in 3 or 4 yrs will new guys ever be able to rank with their tiny UPs?

but as for this line of thinking, why can a "big guy" not lay low and try to avoid being in the spot light?

and I never said it should be easy, but if thats what they want, why do you not want them to?

After all, RANK means nothing.

Lets stick with the thing that rank is only for military,

but income and up can appear at least with a rank, but will not count towards rank.

Well I personally do not want my stats posted for all to see. If its ranked, it should be privately, not publicly. Someone wants to see my UP let them look for it themselves.

How about make a private UP ranking system similar to military experience ranks from Dune Wars and Gate Wars, but maybe make it not exact?

Ex. 1 Unit Production Rank: Top 50
Ex. 2 Unit Production Rank: Top 50-100 or Top 100
.
.
.
Etc.

You could have the knowledge that your UP is within a certain range, but you wouldn't know who is near you in UP, or if someone is a few thousand UP ahead of you. Plus, the UP wouldn't have an effect on your rank.

Top 3 or so for UP already have rankings if they are high enough at the end of the month.

I agree with Nomad 100% I would prefer to keep my UP a secret as best I can as it plays into strategy.

I do not think that we should rank UP or Income.

Space's idea sounds okay as it doesnt give info about the rank 1 UP or anything. I think that the top UPs should be kept a secret. Also if UP played into rank and changed your stats it may prevent some1 from getting rank 1 since some1 might stop increasing their UP as it wouldnt be profitable after a certain point.

Instead of arguing for or against, i.e. wasting time, look for ways how to make it acceptable for everyone

Well that is far more acceptable to me, but I still hope it does not count against rank.
