Embedded Chat Empty Embedded Chat

I would like to see a global chat, possibly divided into several sub chats....like trade, alliance, private etc.

However, this chat as a whole would be cool if it were embedded into the game interface and not a pop out separate website like the one currently.

I thought there was already alliance chat. In fact I am sure there is one.
