What is the most efficient weapon on Aderan Wars?

In June 2012, it's the mobile artillery (the average UU price was around 375,000 kuwal).
Runners up are Tank (95% efficiency) and MLRS (94% efficiency), while tank is more manpower intensive, and MLRS more kuwal intensive.

The efficiency of a weapon is not only based on it's price and strength, but also on the price of UU, training cost of soldiers, on the upkeep and also on the time the weapon is kept until its destroyed in the battle.

For simplicity I ignore the lifespan of a weapon and it's upkeep cost (better weapons have higher per point upkeep cost than weaker weapons)
As the UU prices increase, different weapons become more efficient.

The UU price stayed at around 375,000 for over half a year. At this price each soldier costs 525,000. Using the best weapon will allow you to have the highest strike/defense action at the lowest price. The previous table shows weapon efficiency of all weapons at 375,000 kuwal, while the table below shows the best 3 weapons at different UU prices.

How do you calculate the efficiency? And how does the efficiency work in a battle?(preferably use an example to explain)

I think Stealth Tank should be renamed to nuclear artillery.

In test they are called stealth tanks, in this example its called super weapon. No idea why the discrepancy. Perhaps Kenzu can enlighten us.

Initially it was a Stealth tank, with a stealth tank image. Later, when weapon pictures have been changed, it received an image of a tactical nuke/nuclear artillery. The code still calls it a stealth tank, but it already has the nuclear artillery image. Since it's unclear what the name of this weapon will be, I edited the post and renamed it superweapon. Those people who refer to stealth tank, probably still saw the old post.

That's why it's called superweapon for now.

weapon efficiency is kuwal you pay to get 1 power (or power you get for each 1 kuwal spent, either one works)

basically ( weapon cost + training + current uu market rate ) / weapon power = X
or weapon power / ( weapon cost + training + current uu market rate ) = Y
all that changes with each weapon is cost and weapon power and you're looking for the lowest X (kuwal paid per 1 power) or highest Y (power per 1 kuwal paid)

Thats a good way to look at that Admin.

I realized this whole table has a serious flaw. The efficiencies are correct for all strike missions with the exception of assault. Because when you assault 100% of destroyed weapons are really destroyed, while only 50% of soldiers killed are really killed. The other half only gets wounded and even though wounded are casualties too, after some time, they will be ready to fight again.

Since assaulting causes the bulk of losses for both strike forces and defense forces, it makes sense to make a table for these as well. It will obviously shift the efficiency towards weapons that give more strength per kuwal, which is mobile artillery.

PS: however when facing assassinations, it's better to have a smaller number of units. The table also neglects this fact. This danger is hard to calculate though.

Basically, don't go with calculated numbers since all of them have flaws. Go with the configuration that has the least amount of flaws.
