Not only does this make things slower when going by the pages, it makes it more annoying. Do you guys need more revenue that you added these type of ads?

We get no revenue from forum ads. But we can pay some money to get rid of them. It has been paid before, and that's why you didn't see forum ads for a long time. It can be paid again.
