Recent World Events

So we got here a couple things going on right now:
Curumo became the new leader of Imperium yesterday
Marauders have been renamed to The_Sands_of_Time
seaborgium passed leadership on to Lurant Maximus, a player on vacation mode

And now, Marauders members join the ranks of Imperium. (There were roughly 8 actives half an hour ago, and now there is only seaborgium)
I realised that they started joining Imperium already after 11th october.

There are two basic questions that come to my mind now: Why was this done, and what purpose is it supposed to achieve?

I wonder if a post has been already prepared to unveil the reason of this surprise.
Something so big doesn't happen every day.

I didn't expect that these two alliances would solve their differences.

For those unaware: Shortly I will either be departing Aderan Wars for good, or otherwise continuing to play with only minimal activity (a.k.a keeping my account around mainly for when the alliance needs another gun when Supply Turns become a issue).

This is one of the main reasons the merger of The Imperium & Marauders has happened - all alliances on Aderan Wars are shrinking as players leave & aren't replaced by new players (most of the time). The Imperium & Marauders have always been good friends... and upon making it known my intention to leave or at least step-down, Curumo & Seaborgium had discussions on the future of both alliances....

.....The Marauders Imperium is the result. Both alliances fate has always been intertwined - linked by common history, common interests, friendship & common threats. Now they shall be linked in facing the future together, as one.

Regardless of what I intend to do regarding Aderan Wars... I have every hope that the Marauders Imperium will carry the proud history & name of both alliances into the future.
