There's no hidden benefit and Lanya will be making a loss.

You could try sending Lanya a PM to see what's going on. Some are happy to stop farming some are not.

If you still have issues then it would be time to discuss the issue with your Commander and if he's no help then look to forming better alliances thet will give you better protection
