That user already has the maximum amount of open trades

when your maxed out on trade slots the game should auto remove you from the starport so people are not constantly trying to trade with you

sounds reasonable, there is one thing to be considered though.

but what about people who are only temporarily maxed out?
Maybe they are planning to build more hangars, OR are already building some?

then as soon as they get them they go put up more trades? if your maxed your maxed. what happens when the first 15 or 20 players in the trade link are all maxed? people stop looking for trade partners.

i agree with nomad, if you get your max, you should wait until you have built more hangars to trade more. So then, a player who has maxed shouldn't appear as a trade partner until he has built more buildings that let him trade with more people

Sounds like a good idea. I would also like a link on the Starport page that takes you directly to the Trading Resources page so that you can get to the list of your current Trades and Offers more easily.

I agree with nomad. It will either remove you, or a symbol will be added that you are maxed out. (maybe a cross just like if you have SS or not, in a separate column.)

And adding a button that will link you to trade offers you can accept or decline is also a good idea for starport.

Suggestion:
If you reached max slots, an information must appear that you have reached a limit for everyone to see in the starport.
