Will there be protections on the last 4 days of the round reset?

Has it ever been decided what the awards will be or how they will be calculated or what they will be calculated on?

How long till the next round starts after this round ends?

How long till the main bonuses are seen in the main accounts?

Will inactive still be in the attack pages producing 0 income?

Thats what I think too, but if all the big guys go on ppt to avoid conflict then the round end will go out with a fizzle, not a bang.

1) good idea, tbh I most likely would have not thought of disallowing protections, though I am inclined to allow the 4 hour protections, but it's up for discussion (mb quadruple the cost of them so you can't stay on for as long as you normally could)

2) I was kinda thinking so have a round start and end on the 15th of the month in question (this time october) so that it doesn't interfere with the monthly awards. though I will be severly busy being unable to provide technical support in case of screwups on 15/16 October so there's 3 options:
- Stop the round this time on the 11th give me a day to upload the new changes and pre-testing and whatnot and have it start on the 12th/13th
- Stop the round on the 15th, give everyone 2 days break from reset then come back around 17th
- Option 1 but stopping round on 17th
Option 3 is the safest since about 60% of bugs show up in the first few hours, another 30% after about 1-2 days at very specific times and the rest randomly and i'm inclined on taking that road.

3) will build some interface (similar to ascension screen on sgw where you see a list of everything) where you see the bonus and can withdraw it

4) I have no answer as of this moment.

Added end of round countdown on the main index page
Going on protection will be disabled for the last 4 days of the game, any ongoing protections will also be automatically cancelled.
4 Hour protections will remain in the game, but cost to activate them will quadruple.

any ongoing protections will also be automatically cancelled.

i had protection going into the 4th remaining day and it wasnt cancelled, i cancelled it manually near the end of the 4th remaining day... and i see lots of people on protection... 4 hr protection remains but i would imagine it would cost 16 market reserves to activate?

EDIT: just some constructive criticism... there have been some ppl under protection for the past 14 hours... that would be 4 activated 4 hr protections... 64 market reserves... 16 market trades a week = 4 market reserves a week, they must have saved up 16 weeks worth of market reserves...the round has only been going for around 15 weeks so one could deduce that it isnt 4hr protection at quadruple the price being used... the reset server round is over so it doesnt matter but obviously something aint working right in that area... perhaps a bug to fix before future reset rounds.
Also, mebbe think up a system that promotes warring more... the slaves idea was a good step towards more warring but it just doesnt seem to work, its easier to raid and train income units than get income units that only provide a small income and that degrade over time... an example of another possible idea: an option to 'declare war' on someone else which causes ur account to enter into a state where you have to make war hits each day (maintain an aggressive stance) otherwise ur units start abandoning u during this time (lack of loyalty), also ur income is increased significantly by a certain factor during this war time (war funds)... just 1 idea that could be refined, a risk vs reward idea but the overall idea is to promote some sort of activity in reset cuz to be honest it is very boring atm

Remove raiding as that was the main cause of the "gap" between new and old player, then increase the income from "slaves" to more then miners, slaves have no health care and work 23 hr a day until death remember?

look it is reset, that means that you build like crazy for 3 months, then destroy as many as you can in the last 24 hours before the end of the round, thats the way I took it, Also with Kenzu & PBTS shutting down any kind of warring the way they did, I didn't think anyone expected anything more than a stat building game, sorry if you did, & you are very correct on the boring part...

I was second place , second in army size and I only raided about 300 000 units, that was not the cause of the gap, the gap was the smart people invested in up earlier and gained officers.

And I hit ptbs all the time, my hits were all fair and when they hit me back they either did nothing to me or I retaliated and they stopped soon after.

T1T2 was a good guy and player and knew that fair hits on his alliance mates who left too much open for there defense were open to be hit. Don't blame the slow war effect on them, they may have talked tough but were fair when push came to shove.

The biggest thing that I noticed besides the advantages of early, disciplined UP growth and having officers with the same goal, was the idea that training mostly miners for the additional 40% income was never punished.

In the Reset environment where a war or serious conflict could permanently cripple a player's chances for any sort of achievement, attacks on miners with the current parameters is too much of a risk and explains why everyone eventually built up all miners in this first Reset.

PS: Thanks to Aspire (Melonhead) for his constant challenge and respectable play throughout the Reset.

For having participated in the first round of the reset server you have earned x.xxx $ worth of resources

A total of 100$ worth of resources will be given out to all players who participated. The size of the bonus is based on how big your account was as well as how many units and weapons you have destroyed compared to other players.
# For 1$ you will receive one of the following resources: 6,198,453,300 Kuwal OR
# 45,300 Untrained Units OR
# 300 Attack Turns
Please select how many % (no decimal points accepted) of this bonus you wish to receive as a particular resource

% of the bonus as units

% of the bonus as kuwal

% of the bonus as attack turns

Example: 20% of bonus as units, 25% of bonus as turns, 55% of bonus as kuwal.
