Mods for forum

Well one person asked about it, figured i'd make a thread and save myself about 30 minutes of my life each week by not having to bother with the spam some people post.

General / Wars / Alliance Recruitment / Market
That's 4 sections, 2 people each. Should make about 10-15% of the forum population end up with moderator status lmao.
Post here if you're interested: say simply which of the 4 sections you want.(you can apply for more than 1) if you have the guts to post then i'll assume you also have the honesty of being able to judge whether or not your ego fits the required parameters.

Things I dont care about:
Having played the game for long,
posting frequently/a lot,
knowing many people,
having moderated before on other forums,

Things I care about:
Being able to check the forum a few times a day even for just 10 seconds to see if any particular post got reported
Being able to run through new posts in your section at least once a day and edit/move anything that needs fixing
Not having a history of being unable to keep your personal issues at bay when modding


I felt like writing another lame poem but instead i'll just say this:
Mods come and go, anyone can hand in their resignation anytime, no questions asked.
Consequently, just because youre important, doesn't mean you're not replaceable.

I can do that. I'd like to mod the General Forums and maybe in the suggestions forums, since there is where i post and have interest the most.

I would like to apply for a moderator job in any area I am needed. I feel my skills are suited for some areas more then others, but are up to par to handle all areas. In order of personal favorites the areas I would like to have, and comments about them.

General,, the heart of any good forum, helping players is the greatest reward for a mods efforts
Market,, my personal favorite as I am just an old haggler at heart.
Alliance,, will have its challenges as the forums grow
War,,, I know this section will bring the most turmoil to the forums, and level headed mods with thick skins will be needed, ones who can separate forums from ingame. I can do this well, but War/Battles forums have never been my favorite sections. Too much negativity. That said AW forums have the best War/Battle sections I have ever seen, and I am willing to help foster a health and vibrant section in any way I can.

If the job is still available I would like to take the wars section as the spam has been getting out of hand lately.

I check forums daily, mainly the war, general, and trade section.

Mainly just to remove spam posts that come up from time to time. There was someone posting NSFW and malicious links a few months back.
