Re: Negative Units in Training
what annoys me the most is that i still have no clue why these things happen sometimes.
cos it's definitely not an issue with training different unit classes cos i tested that over and over again

Re: Negative Units in Training
Yeah i don't get it either. You so far have programed this thing right using floor and ceiling to do the math stuff. So it can't be a rounding issue.

Re: Negative Units in Training
problem must be with subtracting from the "units in training" cos that one is saved as a hard number instead of always getting the sum of the units your training, gets increased by the amount of units that get ordered to train and reduced by the number of units that get trained.
I could have writen that each time you train something it simply calculates the sum again from scratch but that's a "dirty" solution considering how it wouldn't fix the reason why the two sums diverge.

Re: Negative Units in Training
I am having wierd training numbers that tend to go into negative.
Right now I have:
Units in training (20 income per turn) 3,824
Miners (70 income per turn) 109,298 (9,744)
3824 is quite a few units short of 9744
My ID is 2874
As an added info that may be useful to you guys, the number that never goes down is the miner number, all the other units I train go back to (0) when I have trained them. Not sure if I'm loosing any Miners this way though I haven't paid that much attention to see if what I order trained actually gets trained or gets lost in some limbo. I pay more attention next time if you guys think it may be relevant?
Thanks for looking into it.
