So now there is an option to specify gender?


Why are they listed as

Male
Female
Female 2

why no unisex or none specified?

Also will this be a mandatory option or can you set it so it doesn't show to other people. (<- Couldn't see one) Because I know some people won't want others to know.

it's default male, cos most players are male.

considering you can put whatever you want, and that everyone thinks by default that a target player is male, it makes not too much difference

Those who dont want others to know will simply leave it as it is.

i think a unisex/no sex option would have been more appropriate then 2 female otions. I mean you have 3 options now, why? why females get 2 options and males only 1? isnt that bias and sexist?

I say add a 4th option, green, and combine the symbals for male and female or create a new one to represent unisex/no sex.

I mean it would be different if we had a set background story to the game. we started with all human races on one planet, but now we are all on seperate planets and not necissarily even huiman anymore.

I dont care myself, i just think if your going to waste the time and effort to code gender for what ever reason, then you should cover all genders, and there are 3 by scientific definition

well the gender thing took 30 mins to do, so it's not like it was an actual update.

By comparison the update that allows sorting users on the alliance pages by various categories took actually like half a day to make.

About not having unisex, as mentioned in the updates page. Everyone assumes the other person is a guy, hence default setting is male. So it's not even like invasion of privacy.
The two female are only there cos I could easily imagine some women not wanting to use the pink one.
Otherwise there would have been only one male and one female.

Would it be possible to have a text option for it? I am the sort of person that prefers text only (Only exception it the 'has trading ability' button, I like that one...) It's not because I use my phone (I only do that when I am away etc.) but I prefer to have all text and no pictures at all in the actual game. (Adds/banners I don't care about)
