Anyone want/care enough for commander ranks?

If yes what should it get ranked by?

Like alliances by member war exp, army size, power?
Maybe how much the commander gives out kuwal each turn and/or the rate per uu they pay?

it's not gonna be done anytime soon as i have some other updates to release first but just another thing that might make the game more competitive

I suggest you to make a score system that takes into consideration all these factors that you mentioned. Perhaps an average in an interval of time to better reflect what commander is active and to eliminate (or rather reduce the importance of who was first to play and playing longer) from the ranks those who were active but are not anymore, but still have huge scores.

Perhaps, that you should also record to the scores the message exchanges between the commander and his officers, the "team work", the use of the bulletting board, the trades, etc...

i can see it just getting complicated if you measure it by too many things like that .

What is even the point in the rank?

hmm no but like many things, they are simply added for people being able to focus on different aspects of the game.
It can't become popular if you dont try to cater to a wide variety of users.

same thing with achievements, they aren't something that make you stronger, but a good thing to aim for when playing. Gives you an actual goal

Then I actually agree with Nigatsu, if your going to rank it, make it mean something, even if it is going to be some real work to do so.
