Ok here is your chance to suggest how you think commander/officer relationships should be made.

Do you want the game to promote an enviroment where people take up on officers?

Officers can be really beneficial to new people when offering protection, help, gold etc, however it is really un-profitable for the big player to do this so this could be looed into

however i feel there should be a good way to encourage it, maybe not by making self co or no non-profitable, but in other ways that i cant really think of but others may.

2 things i can tell everyone for sure.
There won't be any of this "making yourself commander"

And benefit of being "lone wolf" will get smaller or potentially even totally removed and it will be reduced to:
"If you want extra up and decreased income from officers, get them. Otherwise you get what you produce"

take on several officers

give them 0-5/10/15/20/25% of your max income

be able to send me uu and cash via officer help

ect ect

too high risk of multi abuse :/

otherwise you'd see ten times more posts in this section, there are many good ideas i had but most i cannot yet work on cos i didn't finish thinking about how i can prevent abuse

well I figured something like depending on race of commander, the officer will receive an extra % bonus (dunno if co is strike race then officer gets 1-2% to strike extra)

nothing much but might be another factor when picking co's

Ok, commander/officer system will be as follows:

The commander sets how much he wants to pay his officers per extra uu they generate for him (i.e. 100k, 200k, etc.)

If his officers give him 100 units per turn and the commander sets that he pays 100k kuwal per unit then the commanders income will decrease by 10 mil per turn.
The income decrease can be a max of 40% of the commanders total turn income.
If his officers would normally be able to give him 1k units per turn (value 100 mil), but the commanders income is 100 mil per turn, then he will only "buy" 400 units per turn from his officers (40% from 100 mil is 40 mil which equals 400 units @ 100k per uu).

If an officer joins that commander, the officer's income will increase depending on how much units that commander will "buy" from that officer each turn and is maximum 20% of that officer's total unit production.

If the commander is unable to buy all units, then the amount of kuwal that is being payed is distributed proportionately between the officers.

Each commander can have a max of 10 officers (maybe increased later)
