How about a way to search players, ( without commanders etc.) Make looking for officers easy instead of waiting for them to come to you, you could pm them and ask to join up. can make other search refeinments too.

Nope .... takes alot of CPU time and it can be abused.

If you need to search for people without a CO do it manually.

Next you'll want to search for people with over x kuwal out, over y army size or whatever ..... so you wont do any work .... not gonna happen.

i dont see how it would be abused..its a search... and once the game gets larger with more players its going to be a function that comes in handy..big time. and about cpu- there are already search funtions in place- about who your are at war with, declared by you or by them and etc.. im just saying add in a couple more criteria..its not much

It is true that it doesnt take much cpu, but the question is, if those people don't have commander most likely they don't want one, so why bother make the code?

If the people are not clever enough to join a commander it's their loss, and if you want to have more officers, you can simply pm them.

The bulletin board already facilitates search for commanders.

Well if you add their def size to the serach parameters i am in kidding
