Income percentages
This really is not a bug but, just a question I suppose...
Right now the income total is subtracted by the A.E percentage, then personal bonus percentages are calculated on this new figure then up keep on top of that...to give the total of sub-section 2 of the income page. (As per the formula)
Example
Income from Untrained units 500,000
Income from Farmers 100,000,000
Income from Workers 25,000,000
Income from Miners 25,000,000
Income from Civilians 1,000,000
Income from Slaves 0
Income Total 151,500,000
----------------------------------------
Administrative Efficiency 90,00 %
Income Bonuses (Ads + Personal) + 20.00 %
Alliance Upkeep - 0 %
Subtotal 163 620 000
-----------------------------------------
Now the way I believe it should be sub totaled is adding the % modifiers together then taking the income total and multiplying by that new percentage, if done this way it would result in a new figure of....
Subtotal 166 650 000
Now the difference here may seem marginal but when I did the math on my own income I figured i was losing roughly 10 mil per turn, at 4x speed this equals to 40 mil per turn.
This may be the way you designed it and wish to keep it. (which if so , fair enough) I'm just wondering why it is this way? If the efficiency of my workers is lessened by my army size, but I have increased technology to make up for this why is it not calculated on the whole?
Just a thought ...

Yes I know there is a tip..... I'm asking why the formula is the way it is?

Re: Income percentages
because the % are not additive values but multiplier effects.
The + and - is only shown for understanding that some things decrease your income while others increase it
