Aderan Castle - Main RP Thread

A lot of laborers and craftsmen were needed, including woodcutters, quarrymen, master masons, ditch diggers, miners, smiths, carpenters and carters. Many people were called upon when it was time for the castle to be built.
Within many hours a lot would go into the Castle walls and its structure to make sure it was on of the safest place on could reside. As the men started their work it was clear they know what they was doing. Laying the blocks the bottom floor of the castle had begun. Being a Medieval Castle the bottom floor of the structure would not have any windows as this helped the Royals keep on eye on the upper level had window openings with seats built in and keep all important gatherings in the basement where there was only one entrance. If possible, workers quarried down to the bedrock, and then leveled it off before setting the base row of stones for the wall. If they could not get to the bedrock, they dug large trenches, placed the stones and filled around them with rubble, which was then compressed. Just about every inch of the castle was made for defense. It was an ultimate weapon of warfare they had in mind when being built. Rooms, towers, walls and even catwalks were designed to give those living in the castle the best possible defense in times of siege. Although the Castle could also handle any type of siege it was built to keep those inside as safe as possible.
Two guard shacks was located at the highest points of the Castle to help the guards watch over the lands. A full size basement also know as the cell was located at the full lentgh of the bottom floor of the Castle Walls surrounding the Castle ranged from 30 to 44 feet high and anywhere from 7 to 20 feet thick. The height of the walls only helped defend the Castle and the people within. The walls promised that as long as they were standing all within was safe. Only way evil could strike within the Castle was if the walls were weaken by some powers greater then the normal human which was likely in the Medieval/Fansty setting. The Castle was built up on a island that was surrounded by bodies of water which laid just north of the City of Aderan. To the dew east was the Forest of Aderan, to the west laid the Mountains of Aderan.
The first floor had many rooms that could hold just about any number of people. Walking in to the front door one would see a large room meant for welcoming guest and Royals into the castle. Hanging up on the 15ft high ceiling hung one of the most elegant chandlers one had laid eyes on. Walking to the left of the entrance one would walk into another room that laid the whole link of the Castles bottom floor. Chandlers could be seen in rows of three completely lining the room. Tables lined both sides of the room, a bar in one the right hand side when you entered and another towards the middle of the room as well as one on the other end of the room. This room was called the Ball Room. Many nights the Royals would hold different type of balls and dinner gathers for the area towns people to attend and get to know their new Royals and each other.
Walking to the middle of the room was another opening Walking through the opening one could see the lovely Spiral staircase running up the middle of the Castle floor a gated entrance and guarded by guards at all times to make sure no one unwanted could make it up to the room of the Royals,guards, servants or other living quarters. Looking past the Stair case one could see the kitchen area with many servants working hard preparing meals for all the lived within the Castle. Next to the Kitchen area was a large wall to wall libary which contained all important paper of the Lands history as well as reading books for those to read up on any type of Magic or other things one might like to read and study. Down the hall and around the corner another large room could be found. This room was for the Royals to hold important meets with their people. There is two portables withing the Castle. On resided behind the stair case and one on the upper floor at the end of the hallway. These portables could be used by the people within the Castle for those to get from one floor to the next without using the staircase or be seen by others that maybe present.
**Note Living quarters are free for you all to add your own special touch too. Rp it out to as what your quarters look like, where it is located within the Castle, ect. Keep in mind most living quarters are on the second floor of the Castle. I will be working on this post off and on adding things to it as the RP grows. I think this will get us started for now.**

Jade looked around seeing all the duct collecting on the newly formed grounds wondering if she had dreamed of sending out the word that the castle has been built. No one had showed up but many had spoke of their interest in building said new grounds to make things a little more interesting around these lands.
Jade looked over everything to make sure everything was ready for allowed the new folks to come and start in with others.
Place a note upon the door the read :
"Ladies and Gents please coming and make your self at home. Claim your quarters and get settled in. The more the merrier "

Suddenly Austin arrived!
A nobleman from a distant corner in the galaxy. Now much was known of him... He arrived dressed in black, with the Crest of his empire "The Covenant" who had recently undergone several changes in governmental affairs, it was unknown if he was king, emperor or just a mere steward, a custodian of his rule. His quarters were simple, a reception room for guests to socialize, a study with windows overlooking the back side of the castle into the dark forests. A section of barracks for his security detachment and servants, and off to the back through a maze of small closets, almost completely forgettable to the keenest of eyes, was a door beside a shelf of books leading a narrow corridor to his private quarters himself, a simple bedroom with a bed and a table.
This section gave him solitude, a place to reflect and plan. He enjoyed quiet dark places, for he was a lurker of sorts.
