Attack repelled, resources stolen

Shoot me straight away if I missed a memo; but I just made an attack that bounced, but gave me the resources anyway. (Similarly, I have had successful attacks earlier that rendered no loot.)

Universe's army was composed of:
107,708 Super Soldiers, 0 Regular Soldiers and 0 Mercenaries
66788 Super Soldiers were armed with Main Battle Tank
40920 Super Soldiers came unarmed
vaga awaited the invaders with the following:
140,000 Super Soldiers, 0 Regular Soldiers and 0 Mercenaries
136500 Super Soldiers were armed with Main Battle Tank
3500 Super Soldiers came unarmed
Your field scouts report on the status of the enemy: The invaders deal 1,698,919,750 damage on the enemy!
This results in 335 casualties amongst the defending troops!
The defending forces return fire and inflict 1,858,106,250 damage on their opponents!
They manage to cause 2,253 casualties in their enemies ranks!
Universe's attack has been repelled!
The invading soldiers flee in panic whilst vaga's forces are cheering and celebrating their victory.
Despite this, 21,767,292,337 Kuwal has been taken from vaga's realm.

This happened to me more than a few times even before the latest updates, and i did not thought of it as a problem... if the forces are almost equal, it happens.

However if your natural strike is larger than their natural def, and you fail, then you get almost all of the kuwal 100% of the time.

You don't know it, because it hasn't been explained properly in the test server.
The problem would be solved if in each mission report it would state what the ods would be that you will steal kuwal, and how much you would steal in that case.
It would be even more clear, if you would ALWAYS steal some kuwal, but with smaller strike only steal a fraction of what the person has.
For example half strike would steal 50% kuwal
quarter strike would steal 25% kuwal
strike of 1/10 of defenders defense action would steal only 10% and thus be worthwile if that player didnt bank for a couple of days.
