In game mail system
Reworked Mail system:
- Being able to delete multiple messages instead of just either one by one or all in one go
- Forwarding messages possible, however the only way to be sure it's not a fake, you have to be forwarded the message by the person who received said message, not by the person who sent it. (If you experiment with it, then you'll know what I mean)
- Quoting previous message is possible, quote cannot get edited, and is lost should both the sender and the receiver delete the original message from their outbox and inbox respectively (considering most people rarely open their outbox let alone delete stuff from it, I dont find this to be a problem)
- Added option to mail alliance leadership. Leader/2IC/Advisors will receive the message.
- Some more tweaks and other reworks that only a few people will ever notice but not important to the user

Original Message wrote:I want a couple things lol!
1. Being able to forward the message.
2. Being able to reply to the message with the original message intact (as a quote) and the subject to stay intact.
3. Being able to mail "Leadership" (1st, 2nd + advisors) as an option.
Ok, so 3 things.... sorry. If they've been suggested before, sorry, just lately it's been bugging me more and more.

Re: In game mail system
Love 1 & 2
dont really see a need for 3, since its only 2 people, but if you get it, great.

Re: In game mail system
Yes, I agree with all 3 things
2nd and 3rd being the most useful
This should be added to the message system.
It's not only 3 people, because "3rd in command" or advisors can be multiple people. You can have even 10 advisors if you want.

I was not aware of that, does make it a bit more useful. I back 3 now.

Re: In game mail system
1 note, and 1 request
My message page has each message divided into a grid with lines, but some of the lanes are missing putting 2 messages together in 1 grid. is purely cosmetic, everything works, and very possibly just my pc/account
I request a small space be put between the options at the bottom. the options of whom to send it to, they are very close together and when your in a hurry you might send messages to the wrong set of people.

TY
I have been on and off all day, and the lines come and go. like I said, purely cosmetic, and prolly due to my pc. it is rather old.

Re: In game mail system
BTW this is GREAT!!!!!!!
Another request on this....... is it possible to add a "delete" while in the message instead of having to go back and tick it and then delete ticked?
You added a lot, very very much appreciated, especially since war has broken out, it makes it a ton easier to send messages to only certain groups!

Re: In game mail system
I would like to see the white lines in the inbox dissappear completely.
Before we didnt have them and everything was fine.
I would like to see them removed.
It hurts my eyes to see it!

Re: In game mail system
I can go either way on the lines, doesnt bother me they are there, but I also did perfectly fine without them.

Re: In game mail system
ok, fixed a minor/major issue with how the forwarding worked.
I intentionally set it that the forwarded message gets "sent" from the account that originally wrote it. However this had a minor unforeseen consequence which I really did not intend it to have.
Thanks for the person to pointing that out to me, so it's reworked now.
Forwarded message is sent by the person who forwards it. The second pm which used to be send by the person who was forwarding is now sent by the admin account instead with the information about username and ID of original writer contained in the text.
