Up cost increase:
Yes 38%
No 40%
Dont care 21%
Result: There will be definitely be an increase of up cost in stages, but instead of jump in base cost and increase per upgrade there will only be an increase per upgrade

Race Differences increase:
Yes 61%
No 27%
Dont care 12%
Result: Will increase, most likely double all race benefits, still have to fiddle around with the hualu bonus and the bank deposit thingy.

Pictures?

Result: Will give people the option in preferences, set no pictures, or a certain size of their choice.

This was something I hadn't heard much more about yet. Are there any more details on how drastic the UP cost increase stages will be?

I'm asking because as with Dune Wars and Stargate Wars, I've found Unit Production to be an important part of account planning. So I wouldn't mind knowing what I'm getting into.

unit production research cost will never grow faster than 5 or 10 000.
It is expected it will be growing somewhere between 2.000 and 5.000 per upgrade.

most likely tending to have the upgrades go up in steps, like after 10k it goes up by 2k, then after 20k it goes up by 3k, etc.

I don't know why you want to punish those with UPs... there is already the AE which kicks them in the nuts a lot... i hope that those numbers aren't random because some people said so and that you have a function like you had until now. Razz

I often wondered if the AE allows someone smaller to actually have more income then someone larger.

It is a real kick in the nuts tho, only getting 50% of your income stinks LOL


But I do feel its a much more acceptable control then in other games.

there's only one way someone smaller can have more income than someone larger.
smaller person builds miners and larger person farmers

about the up, well it's more about slowing the growth of the game in general.
what will change is the change in price increase, there wont be a jump in price as in that when you're on 9999 up the next upgrade costs 10 mil and then when you get it the next upgrade costs 20,02 mil. No it'd simply cost 10,02 mil

So following that idea, that would mean that 19,999 UP could cost 30,000,000 to upgrade to 20k, then the next one may cost 30,030,000 Kuwal?

income and unit production go hand in hand.
To slow down income we have administrative efficiency, for up we will have jumping costs.

only problem is when AE is lowering your income below someone smaller then you, and you have to have a massive army and they don't.

Its all stratagy I guess, and still feel that the limits/controls here are still far better then other games, I just hope it doesnt become to much.

No, AE will never drop your income below someone who's smaller.

If you have 1 mil miners and 100k units in other classes then you will have more income than someone with 800k miners and 80k units in other classes. (unless you have only farmers and he has only miners in which case he might actually have more income but you have less risk)

Plus if you get massed then your income will increase quite a bit again (and a fair bit more than should the smaller person get massed) Razz making recovery that much easier, fyi
