What do you think of the new sidebar

Better, but a bit too big (wide)

agreed, thing is that it's only wider cos of the icons, otherwise it would have been nearly the same width

yh good work kenzu but as was already said here its too big

I like it at home, but at work the graphics don't load, so It becomes very large and ugly

1) How about we keep it like this for 1 week and if you still don't like it, we will make it smaller.

2)In case we make it smaller, what do you prefer:
Make the text smaller, or
remove "Log" from Assassination Log and Intelligence Log to make it short enough?

Maybe because photobucket is locked in your office.
Maybe it would help if we use a different upload service.

I can`t choose any option. I would vote keep the new sidebar, but if I do that you won`t stretch it.
I like them, but make the text smaller so that the overall wideness is decreased.

Also, would be nice a "onmouseover" effect.
You`re already using javascript so it`s not a big deal, only 4 lines of code.

you mean that if you hover over it, it will tell you what for example "Training" is good for, right?

No, i mean that when you hover it, the text changes color. That is a nice effect and can also highlight the positioning of the cursor more and you can see exactly where you`re going. Same like with the links: default is that they get underlined... you can change in the buttons to make it change the color of the text in the buttons.

yeh sure good idea, and btw the reason why i put in a text field for written comments is for those kinds of suggestions

Ya My work is tight for security so everything is blocked. It's not a big deal though, I liked it this morning when I logged in from home.

I don't think it can become large and ugly, because even the previous pics were hosted at phtobucket, all you should see then are broken links or something.

And maybe in that case browse the game without displaying pictures. It'll at least say the text so you know what you're clicking on.

There broken links, but they become large broken links that make it so i have alot of scrolling to do.

Here's a preview. Old sidebar was over 200 pixels, this one is around 150


Also a suggestion was put forward to move the infobar (the stuff about date; amount of at's,st's,ct's; kuwal; bank; etc.) above the sidebar, instead of under it.

Oh yes and this would be a neutral color one, there's gonna be a slight redo on each of the race specific colors but this one will be at disposal for everyone to change into if they desire to do so

i like it, though am initially disoriented by the turns etc being on top. *shrugs* I like having the option of mono-tone if possible though. =)

I`ll keep the new shrunk hualu (blue one). Well done.

My problem is they keep changing?

The "golden" and the Hualu are the same, the old style looks like the old style when I select it but changes to blue when I go to the command page. The "metalic" one was grey first time, now it looks like the old style.

everything works as it should, the only problem is that when you change the sidebar your browser still has the old sidebar in the cache, you need to clear the cache to load the new images (shortcut is F5)
