display issue with moble phones

I can not find the original thread this was reported in a year or so ago but the display options are busted now with this update. Using an Iphone 4 and an Iphone 5 the command page links are display on top even when your preference is set to side. Has been this way since the display was in test but never fixed, so now it is in main. Can we please look into this?

Yeah it doesn't work for me either. And if you put the infobar on the side it completely disappears and makes banking impossible.

Not sure about what is happening so please forgive my bad descriptions and lack of useful info.

Logging in by phone is still the same. It appears to be using the "plain login" form. Which that in itself is fine. I do not like it because I have to log in to my account to gain access to forums. That is not really an issue that needs resolved, but if you could add a forum link to the plain log in I would appreciate it.

What is a problem is that now I seem to have a scrolling banner for stumble upon it or something of that nature. Every screen click leads me to a log in page. I can not close the banner, and the only way to avoid it is by enlarging the screen so that the link I want to activate is as big or bigger then the stumble banner. The stumble banner is approximately 1/3 of the screen size of my Iphone, maybe a bit less but that's a rough guess.

Any assistance on these 2 matters would be appreciated.

1) why dont you open the forums directly then if it's such a huge issue for you

2) Either it's an Iphone issue, I logged in and tested it with a galaxy s2 (multiple browsers), also went into your account (on the unlikely off chance that something like recent events list or something causes the layout to screw up) and didn't see anything wrong
Short of you providing me a bunch of screenshots I can't help you since I have no clue what you're actually talking about

you have to explain how you can't login, did you check your internet connection? also make sure that you set your browser to display images otherwise you can't see the login code

When you say open the forums directly what do you mean?

To type in the entire forum addy? if so its because I am lazy and cant remember it all, and thats my fault i agree.

I type in www.aderanwars.com to do everything. To play, to go to forums, to go to our forums from the alliance page link, to do everything.

As for screen shots, if you are familiar with an Iphone can you tell me how to do one?

also not sure what browser your iphone has but mine autosuggests addresses i already visisted so i just type in "ad" and it already suggests both forum and game, never need to type in full adress anyway

Well the stumble banner is gone now? It could be possible that I somehow opened it?

I always did www.ad but that brings up only game links, I see by doing just "ad" it also pulled up http://aderanwars.forums

So you taught me something new and I thank you

Also using that I see the stumbler link is in the history, so that makes me think I inadvertently opened it somehow.

oh and its running safari, not sure what version or how to check what version

I still have no clue what was the deal with the stumble link, but can I assume it's gone since your screenshot only shows plain login? (which was actually loading intentionally, though i've changed it now)

I'm willing to bet I somehow opened it, the stumbler link that is. Yes it is gone now, and thanks for the tip/trick to go to forums faster.

ok, my problem is that when i click to enter the email or the password my browser crashes (i mean it really crash, the browser is closing it self), i use a phone with a symbian OS, it could be a problem with my phone, but this didn't happened before the update. currently i don't use the phone (because i was on vacation and now i will be a little busy at work).

RA server still have the old game log in method and i CAN log in into RA server, the problem is with this new, updated log in method (the one with no username required). IDK what else i could tell you

however I have no clue why that could be the case, as the text disappearing is made by pure simple CSS (so only html layout stuff, not even javascript is involved)

any chance you could go to the test server at reset.aderanwars.com and tell me if it also crashes if you try to login there? (technically it should crash also since the login fields are identical, won't tell me why it's happening but at least if it actually works I know it can be fixed somehow)

yep, it still crashes, the only one that doesnt crash is Red Apocalipse server (this server have the log in protocol that AW used to have before the update)

it seams that my symbian phone doesnt like the new log in method
(maybe i should change my phone, but dont think this will happen to soon)

I dont have much experience with symbian, but what are the chances that you just try a different browser, like opera which supports symbian (tbh I use opera mobile on my android instead of the default browser)

I wish I could help you but this error is strange and apparently it has happened with other people on other websites when they changed the layout also.
