Gold purchases are bugged

I was buying this limited 1000 gold offer before and when I got redirected after paypal payment, i got the following bug.

looks like it is fixed now, but I apparently misunderstood the offer as I read the following concerning a "special offer" on purchasing gold...

For a limited time only, get two times more gold for the same price!

I bought 2,000 gold for $20.00 expecting to receive 4,000 gold, when in fact I only got 2,000 gold.

I am not complaining nor do I really expect the other 2,000 gold. I just want to "maybe" prevent another player from having the same misunderstanding that I did.

I think you meant to say "represents" instead of "resembles".
And actually when I write numbers by hand I always use the dot for the decimal POINT

Yea i can thank autocorrect for that one. In America we always use the "." as a decimal point. I suffered confusion at first when I'd see people write 100.000.000.000 kuwal and whatnot.

Short version: you're not getting another 2,000 gold

Long version: well the page clearly states which offer gives you how much gold, the buttons/images have always exact text saying how much you get.

the page starts off with saying there's a special offer, then it lists the special offers that exist saying exactly how much gold you get for each offer.
It clearly says 2000 gold is still 20$

I would however like to point out that this was the original text

You can't really read 1 line and ignore the rest. If you have new pictures on some offers which clearly fit the description while the old ones are exactly as they were, then you can't really expect the unchanged pictures to be just not working properly.

HOWEVER I agree that the text leaves room for misunderstanding and per feedback I have updated the text that should clear up the misconceptions in the future

thankfully I clicked the right button when buying my gold. HOWEVER, your first part of the text implies exactly that you would simply just get a x 2 multiplier to your bought gold. what you SHOULD advertise is 50% off, not 100% bonus.

Down here, we do things the other way around:
the dots for the thousands and the comma's for decimals.
Hence the misread.

It shouldn't be called 50% off, because we didn't halve the costs, we doubled the prizes.
For example the SMS cost remained the same, still costs 3, like before. The only thing changed that for the SMS you get two times more gold now.
And the special offer 5$ donation gives you two times more gold.

You could say that the 5$ special offer is actually 10$ offer 50% off, but you cannot say the same thing about the SMS special offer, hence it is a 100% bonus.

It really is a 100% bonus to gold, on top of kenzu's explanation, even in the calculation for the support award, which is given out based on how much you donated, the 5$ donation counts as 5$ donated, NOT as 10$ donated.

Unless there is an error in my display I can not figure out where you are getting the amounts you are using. On the actual offer page it has

1000 Gold for 5$ Paypal/Credit card/other
600 Gold for ~3$Pay with Mobile Phone

yet underneath it shows standard rates of

50 Gold for 1$
475 Gold for 5$ <----- 475 + 475 = 950, not 1,000
1,000 Gold for 10$
1,500 Gold for 15$
2,000 Gold for 20$
2,500 Gold for 25$
4,000 Gold for 35$
6,000 Gold for 50$
10,000Gold for 75$
14,000 Gold for 100$

because it's rounded from 950 to 1000

There's no need to round up 950 to 1000.

Nomad has a good point.

But we have taken 100 gold for 1$ as base value. And wanted to give 2 times more gold for donations in the special offer. That's why the 3$ special offer gives 600 gold and 5$ offer 1000 gold.

If someone thinks that they got too much gold, and believe they should have gotten only 950 gold, they can send the unwanted gold to admin via broker.
