Do you have to have a Foreign Ministry to be Second in Command, Advisor or Squad leader?

Re: Another question
The tool set is a site made by some of the players. Its a great tool as it can give you the cost of every upgrade in the game. It allows you access to a massive amount of info and calcs that makes game play much easier.
I'll let a tech guy answer about the bots.

The bots are search engines that are indexing the forum to make it easier to search from their end.

Re: Another question
Would have been better to ask the new question in a different thread. So others can see the question and answer, doing this makes the thread confusing to anyone in the future who reads it.
As for the question, As Far As I Know (And I am not sure) The answer is no to all the above.
Now admin is planning to make it so a foreign ministry is required to start an alliance as it stops all these who log in, create an alliance and then disappear. He has said he wanted to put restrictions on alliances such as 3 members minimum and a member has to log in every 30 days or something or the alliance is disbanded, but all that's just talk over the last 3 yrs. Nothing has been done.
Now in test you may be required to have the FM to create an alliance, not sure as I was in an existing alliance when test opened. The size of the alliance determines the amount of Alliance advisors I think, and possibly Squad leaders I am not sure. Maybe an alliance leader will pop in and reply. Be great if Martin would be I think he is having some R/L issues presently.

Re: Another question
I don't like the disbanding idea, it puts on to much pressure. I really like the idea of a Foreign Ministry in general.

Re: Another question
Why 2 much pressure?
How is 1 man an alliance?
Look at the alliance pages. 7 pages total. 202 alliances of which roughly 10 alliances are active with more then 1 person in it.
how does that look to players looking for an alliance? Why have 6 and 1/2 pages of inactive 0 powered alliances?

Re: Another question
Admin should go ahead and remove them from alliance list if they don't have active members. It's kind of useless, so why not clear up the list for us?
