Here is the deal, when I first signed up for these forums I set my "preferances" settings to not have anything sent to my email as I was getting a ton of basicly useless emails, this is how it has been for quite a while now, but I find this morning that my email is full of "useless stuff" & so after getting rid of it all I came here & checked my profile & all my settings have been changed, so I go back thru & reset all my settings then I come here to ask the following...

"does anyone have a logical explaination for what has happened or has my forum acct been hacked?"

at first I thought it might be an "auto reset" thing that happened yearly, but this did not happen last year so I don't think that is the situation...

any thoughts or explainations will be appreciated...

While I have not received any emails I have checked my forum profile and noted that my email settings had also been turned on.

interesting... all I got today & previously were emails stating "you read/responded to aaa topic. or "you are watching so & so topic" or "so & so responded to such & such topic"... nothing bad or anything like that, more annoying than anything else, would overfill my inbox in no time with what I termed "crap" emails. but it appears that the mystery deepens...

We didnt do anything with it. It must have been done by forumotion. Not sure if it was intentional or not.

Might want to see if you can figure out if there were any other changes not brought to life yet. There should be a log available to Admins,,, well at least in other forums there are change logs, I do not know about these.
