Game builds wrong weapons (sometimes) and admin is ok with it

If you give the order to train attack and defense soldiers and build attack and defense weapons in the same turn. It may happen that the game will start training attack soldiers and building defense weapons, leaving you with unarmed attack soldiers and unmanned defense weapons. This bug can be a serious flaw especially if you train big amounts of units at the same time and dont bother changing priorities (which you will most like not bother changing if you dont care in which order they are built). What you definitely don't want, is to end up with unarmed soldiers at some point.

A pity admin believes this is no bug, even though it's clear that this is an unintended flaw.

My suggestion:

I suggest that the training priority for units and training priority for weapons be adjusted, so that by default defense weapons and defense soldiers are built together, so that when a player orders more attack and defense soldiers and attack and defense weapons in one turn, the game will by default build the weapons of the same type as the soldiers he is building (buy assigning a better priority by default to defense soldiers and weapons than to attack soldiers and weapons.)

A better improvement would be to have a different priority assigned to each type of unit, so that by default they train in a certain order. For example by default when someone trains farmers and military units, he wants to have military units trained first, because less of them are usually trained and he needs the additional protection more urgently than the additional income.

I propose the following training priorities:
(lower number means it will be trained first)

defense soldiers 11
attack soldiers 12
spies 13
assassins 14
miners 15
workers 16
farmers 17

farmers should be trained after workers and miners by default, because they provide less income


I also suggest that that priorities get renamed to orders, referring to in which order will units be trained. because In terms of priorities higher number should mean that it will be built first, but in orders, lower number is the first one to be built.



Here something for the admin:
A software bug is the common term used to describe an error, flaw, mistake, failure, or fault in a computer program or system that produces an incorrect or unexpected result, or causes it to behave in unintended ways.

I believe it was not intended to cause the problem that by default the game will produce weapons of a different type than the units it trains, when they were ordered in the same turn. And it was for sure not intended to cause players to have unarmed soldiers if they dont change priorities.

I stumbled upon this problem when I was building attack, defense soldiers, attack and defense weapons, 200k each, ordered on the same turn, and then after half a day I realised that the game built wrong weapons first. Now I have to waste time, correcting priorities so that they dont build weapons in the wrong order. A normal game should do it itself. The game punishes those who keep unarmed units, so when a game causes this, it is a bug! A pity admin doesn't believe this to be a bug.

The current bug will definitely help new players like the game more!
Just imagine it. What could be better than being screwed by the game?
A player builds a strike and def, only to realise that he cant farm anyone because he suffers bigger losses, his strike didnt increase at all and he didnt gain any increase in defense either. On top of that if he gets sabbed, it will be more devastating for him. This will make players appreciate the game much more. They will love it!

Generally I have not built large quantities of different units and weapons at the same time so I have not noticed this.

From memory what I have found it that the building has been done in the order in which I have made my selections which is what I would expect the default action to be.

Your idea of giving a different default priority to each type of unit has some merit but it reflects your style of account building and not necessarily how others my want to build things.

Generally when building I will place the orders in order I consider best suits what I want to achieve but I also take the time to check the priorities simply because I will also make adjustments that will suit my current needs based on both quantity and Activity.

I would not class this as a Bug. One thing I have noticed is that at times it can appear the the training and weapons facilities are not fully utilized and only build 1 type of unit or weapon at a time. e.g. if your facilities are at 10000 capacity and you are training multiple items when the balance of the current unit or weapon is less than the facility say 8000 then the remaining capacity is not used for the next type of unit or weapon.

I would really only have admin check to ensure that things are by default produced in the order that the player requests them and then leave it for the players to assign different priorities themselves. This means everyone should be happy and no one is forced to have to accept different priorities by default.

This problem only arises if you chose to train attack and defense soldiers with one order.

You know, in the training page, you fill out both blanks on how many units you want to train.

I assume you never order attack and defense soldiers in one order.

Because you keep talking about other situations, where the bug doesn't occur.

Also take into account that before priorities worked differently and automatically those units were trained, which least had to be trained. So If someone had 1 million farmers training, when he ordered say 50k defenders, the farmer training would stop temporarily until the 50k defenders are built by default.
