voting helps new players more

i seem to remember admin saying something about new players get more AT and ST every time they vote.


how many AT's and ST's do they get?

and what are the qualifications to receive this extra bonus?-what do u define to be a new player?

I don't think that's accurate.

When I used to be smaller I used to get tons of extra AT and ST by voting

I was curious, so I voted once to see what I'm actually getting for each vote. I gained 175mil, 16 AT and 11 ST from 1 vote. It was only worth 175mil, 6 AT and 1 ST. You gain more AT and ST than advertised, but the amount of kuwal is accurate.

Last I heard it was a "set" amount. Once you voted X amount of times and recieved x amount of free recources the extra benifit ends

click on "income" in command center... then hover your curser over A.E., you will see the G.A.A.S.

I know Voting is there to help new player the most but COME ON:

Thats redicilus by today standard I mean I can burn that off raiding or farming heck even on spying so fast and the same goes for a new player.

If I started a new account would I burn true what I get plus bonus to fast for what you get.

Can't it be changed, increased or something to a more fitting outcome?

Ingame cash value would be cool.

Like we get the value every day and when we wanna spend it we can spend it all at once like if we were using real money.

So if we got like 20 cents cash value daily then after 5 days one could get 500AT, XXX kuwal, or XXX UU.

Of course the values would need to be adjusted but I feel like giving the players liberty to choose how they wish to be paid for voting is pretty cool.

108 attack turns have always been very valuable, 2 years ago and now.

consequently the kuwal benefits were always not very big for top incomes

The prime reason for voting is to raise AW's rankings on the sites where the votes are cast so that we can attract new members and not to be a way for existing players to gather additional resources.

2 Billion may not seem like much to a lot of existing players but it is a hell of a lot for new accounts.

Ideally voting should happen because the existing players like and enjoy the game and want to help in attracting new players and not just be another means to bolster their account growth.

@ Sea - So your saying one of two things. Players don't vote because they don't like and enjoy the game and want to support it OR they are just a greedy bunch and need to be bribed to vote.

@ Steveanaya - actually if we look at the number or registrations one could draw the conclusion that we really don't need to increase the amount of voting being done. The big question is why do they register and then leave again.

I have seen far more new player retention and better ranking from voting in a game where there was far less benefit from voting and also far more support from donations where those who donated got no additional benefit over those who did not (Voting benefit was just 7 At per day, donators got 5 of these without having to vote non donators had to vote for all 7)

The biggest incentive we found that kept new players was that we were actually more of a community which was mostly evident in the forum because it offered something for everyone. All those who found their way there were trapped. Not only could the get help with the game, they could roleplay, they could get help with Technical issues with computers and other things, discuss films, music, books, sports, current events, Post their own art, poetry or writing and there was even a monthly photography competition.

The incentive to vote is not that important but the incentive for new players to stay is and it is the existing players who have the biggest impact.

so then make the new players start with 500k farmers, 2000 ST, and 6,000 AT.

bigger starting bank size should also be like 50b and they should get more MT for the first week

that way, they stay:)

And all that the extra farmers will do is leave us with a lot more farms when they decide that the game does not suit them and leave.

The ST, AT, bigger bank and more MT are not a bad idea though. The only drawback is that a lot will be tempted to use the AT & ST which will put them at risk of retaliation and while many may be nice and communicate with them to provide some guidance there are enough others that will think nothing of wiping them out just to teach them a lesson.

which is why 50 of us should spam every new players' inboxes with tips and stuff so that they never leave:P

i think the farmers would teach them what it's like to have an income-even if it's 25m or whatever per turn
