as for Lil Miss, she didn't like the game and quit.

I have seen these actions before. I have seen the response before.
My question is will Muj let vaako pull this stunt again?

I have farmed those same people for months and nothing was said/done to me.

World Republic is against vaako's tasteless behaviour!

First of all vaako has an unacceptable personal farming policy. His policy states:

vaako MOTD:
"All officers are under my PERSONAL protection. I reserve the right to retaliate with full military force at my discretion. Anyone that farms my officers must immediately pay 10% of the hit back to me. Afterall, that was the salary I paid them for the UU. There will be no warnings besides this one. - June 12, 2011"

Important to note that out of his 8 officers, 1 is on vacation and all other 7 have zero defense. What this basically means is that he doesn't allow anyone to farm his inactive officers, who doesn't pay him 10% cut (so basically everyone who has no SS, or doesn't want to pay it.)

Interesting thing is such that all of his officers are on my farmlist and I farm and raid them frequently but he never said a word to me. Then again his population is 15 million and mine is much higher. But he massed Void, who has only 600k population and an alliance of 5 million.

Vaako is using his farming policy to bully small players. That's not acceptable!

Also asking for a reply within 6 hours is completely ridiculous. You can't expect other players to be online for 24/7. 24 hours is a normal time for a response from an alliance leader.

And how is Void supposed to pay reparations if he doesnt have SS, right?

It is also unacceptable that he wants to stop other players from farming inactives. His officers are not his property.

The only right thing for vaako to do now is to pay compensation to void for massing him.

Void wrote:
My point is in the form of a rhetorical question: did the top alliances made the farming policies (which I discovered by reading numerous messages of the day from leaders and players) to bully small players? Do all the alliance leaders support players like vaako?

If it is so, then my game and my time in this community will end with me hitting the delete button faster than the speed of light. If the community is a closed circle with no access to new players, than I'm in the wrong place at the wrong time. But I do not want to rush a decision, before knowing more answers from the community.
I am sure none of the major alliance's leaders support such a behaviour and you have done the right thing that you informed the community about this bullying.
(And even if there was no one to help you, even then your alliance could outgrow vaako within 2 months and you could mass him. One has to fight for his rights, because freedom is never free. His alliance definitely doesn't support his policy, so they wouldn't help him. Also, if they had helped him, this would weaken them against other major alliances, so it would be against their interest.)

As the 2IC of TIE I would NEVER condone such behaviour and I know Ian shares my sentiment (along with TIE's leadership).

If I found any TIE member doing something like this I'd whip them and make them repay the damages for such a stupid, pointless and bullying behaviour. If that wouldn't work - not sure I'd like such people in TIE ...

Be that as it may - good luck to you Void and welcome to the game (sorry for such a bad start though). If you need anything just contact me ingame - same name as here.

I have to agree with both Curumo and Kenzu.
The farm polices have evolved over time.
I think the only thing thats really in agreement is the price of UU haha.
I can say that I wouldn't stand for this on a active person.
I can say that if a person is inactive and has a lot of resources out then the person going after the resources has to deal with what ever comes his/her way.

So I will show Vaako the same favor.
He can contact me and we can find a way to resolve this or TM will just have to step out and help those who can not help themselves.

Vaako has 12 hours. To contact me, I will even be nice and all Muj leaders/Diplomat to contact me also, I am sure we will have something to talk about.

I am fairly positive to say that TIE stands behind TM 100 % on this issue. At least this is how it will be for me and a few other TIE members. But of course, I will also abide by Ian's wishes (as he's the big cahuna - but somehow I can already see what he'll say Wink).

In case Sea is not around Muj or Vaako can contact me as well.

And like everyone else in TM will I back this up as well.

Vaako actions are of a bully and his behavour is even going against Muj own policy.

So I hope Muj will be smart enough to repay and keep Vaako in check.

Ohh and this is just my oppinion no one else but mine not TM not anyone else BUT my OWN HUMBLE OPPINION.

That if Muj defend or allow Vaako to continue this without taking action them self I see only following options:

1. Vaako pay everything is fine.
2. Muj force Vaako to pay everything is fine.
3. Muj Kick Vaako and mass him them self and everything is fine.
4. Muj keep Vaako and therefore stating they support him hence in my book Muj should be massed as well.
5. Muj kick Vaako but do nothing which just shows Muj still supports his actions and again in my book Muj should be massed.

Thats how i see it. Muj need to step up and do the right thing.

Yep or kick Vaako from the alliance and Mass Vaako for his actions.

Either option is good.

He has had that policy since Muj were part of TOC. He never enfoces it unless its on smaller players, who can't fight back.

It doesn't make it any better actually he should either repay or get kicked from Muj and massed by Muj.

LOL, all the interesting stuff would happen while I m away at a Royal Navy Presentation/Interview Crying or Very sad

But anyway, your spot on.

Here's a little story for everyone: Once upon a time Vaako massed a TIE member for farming his (inactive) officers, we demanded compensation and eventually got it. Then purely out of spite, I decided to challenge Vaako's policy and farm his officers, and made it clear in a PM to him I was doing it solely to piss him off and to challenge his policy. Result? Lord Ishurue barely averted a Alliance War given Vaako seemed to take offense at my actions and wanted a apology before he dropped the issue.

Seaborgium is spot on in saying that this sort of shit has been happening with Vaako for a while... and given he's already in the past massed a TIE member, I for one, will not tolerate it continuing.

I ll be more than happy to mass Vaako should he refuse to provide compensation to Void and abandon his extortion policy.

HOWEVER: Regarding Mujengan I think you guys should cut them some slack. I highly doubt they are aware Vaako's been enforcing this policy still, and I m sure when Vaga or Ghyogod find out about it, they ll try to find some adequate solution to the problem.~

I would, however, like to take the opportunity to remind Mujengan of the terms of the TIE-Mujengan Peace treaty, namely the principle of alliance responsibility being adopted by them. If necessary (though I doubt we ll need to since they ll probably do the right thing anyway), should Vaako refuse to make right the damage he has inflicted on Void, TIE will officially request Mujengan honour that treaty and sort the issue out with Void, preferably by compensating him and punishing Vaako.

But... basically guys do cut Mujengan some slack. They ll sort the problem out if given time to get to the bottom of it & work out a solution.

Its precisely this sort of thing happening which is why The Imperium pushed so hard (and started the war against Mujengan) in order to get alliances to take responsibility for their members actions.... though I do find it entertaining Kenzu (despite World Republic intervening in that war on Mujengan's side and basically opposing the attempt to force through the introduction/adoption of this very principle of alliance responsibility) is now basically also calling on the very thing TIE fought for, and the very thing World Republic launched a unprevoked assault on TIE to prevent. Hypocritical much? (Incidentally, don't worry Kenzu - TIE still hasn't forgotten the "debt" we owe to World Republic Wink )

Hi Void,

Welcome to the game. Also congratulations on forming the void knights and growing your alliance to 9 people.
I can only speak for myself, but I think the behaviour you described is not acceptable. Vaako got into trouble for this before and I hope he learned his lesson.
Did anyone think to send him and/or Mujengan leadership a PM or are we counting on them reading the forum on time?

I have sent a message regarding this to 3 people a couple hours ago.
It has been sent to: vaako, smog (the leader of Mujengan), and ghyogod (his right hand I assume).

Void wrote:Wow, so many supporting responses! I'm a little surprised, by the amount of in game messages, since I posted this. I appreciate it.

I have messaged to all the major alliance leaders about this, because that was probably the only and best thing to do. Void_Knights is just too small to stand up for ourselves, but we're active and willing to grow.

Smog, Mujegans leader said that he will look into this matter.

About the compensations that everyone mentions, I personally don't care if vaako wants to repay or not. UU come and go, kuwal can be farmed, I don't want "the free stuff", I want to succeed through skill and activity. If we deserve to be massed so be it, but so far "Void_Knights" hasn't earned this "right". I have posted this thread to help me take a decision, if the game worths my time. If from this matter evolves a pact against bullies, I'm happy that I pushed this boulder down the hill.

Sincerely,
Void

You are too modest! Very Happy

I personally do not support the personal policy of vaako as it is his policy and not mujengan policy.
by all means go on and farm my inactive officers as i dont care Smile)

however his idea of protecting his inactive officers is something that we should debug.

@ian►i stand for the principle and i have already asked smog to give his direction towards vaako. i will ask vaako to stop his extortion and change the MOTD, but i cannot order him. smog or vaga know more about this matter (but as u know they are to be contacted ingame not on the forum Wink ).

Hey Mate, Thanks for looking into it Smile I hope you know neither myself or The Imperium have high tempers towards Mujengan, we d just like to see Vaako stop killing new players who can't defend themselves, since its bad for the game, plus its exactly what in the past has happened with Vaako regarding a Imperium Member.

However, given what Vaako is doing and if he is unwilling to change that, someone is going to have to step forward to make him change it - most likely players from several different alliances. The Imperium will also contribute to such a effort against Vaako, should it come to that.

There is simply no excuse or justification for Vaako to attack/mass/sabotage new players for farming his (Long since) inactive officers, or then trying to extort kuwal (10% of what they farmed from those officers?) from them via threats/blackmail.

What is there to work with its easy.

1. Vaako repay damage.
2. Muj force him to follow your own farming policy
3. Muj make sure it does not happen again.

Its so plain and simple nothing to be hot headed or angry about I aren't for sure.

And BTW this is the second time Muj seem to have a big problem in their mits you promised to learn from last and yet you haven't.

Anyway Ghyogod just make Vaako pay and appoligiese or do the only thing left kick and mass him your self its not that hard :p.

I don't agree on bullying new players, because I myself have lost a few friends because due to rough treatment from older accounts. I don't agree with vaako's policy, and will look into it. But please, MIND YOUR BUSINESS. As far as i know, no one has elected a server protector from either TM, TIE or WR. You have no business declaring war on either Mujengan or vaako. This is between vaako and void, or, worst case, between Mujengan and Void knights. Void knights have no farming policy. If "someone" has a grudge on MUjengan, speak directly, don't hide behind pity excuses like bullying a new player, whom you have absolutely no connection to.
So this is what Mujengan will do: vaako is to drop his policy concerning officers. NO REPAY of any casualties. If someone has a problem with that, please let me know, and we can solve it like men. And please, 1 vs 1 should be sent ingame and not on the forum. I don't play forum.

Mujengan accepts these terms.

We would also like to express our appology for the situation created by our former member robert who did his own war leading to this mess. now we have changed our resolution and situations like this must be avoided.

You signed a treaty with The Imperium agreeing that "Alliances take responsibility for members who have been in their alliance longer than 7 days, and for ex-members who have left their alliance within the last 7 days- Both alliances agree to respect one another's farming policies and provide compensation should a breach occur

As an Imperium representative, I am OFFICIALLY demanding that you honour that treaty - by taking responsibility for YOUR members actions.

I d strongly recommend you think very very very carefully about what your answer to this is. If you know anything about The Imperium and our past - you d know we take treaty violations VERY seriously, and tend to react very badly when a alliance pulls a U-Turn on something they ve signed, especially when its a peace-treaty ending a war with us.

Don't think for a second that we are bluffing on this - because we are not. The Imperium's stance is if Mujengan thinks the above treaty is no longer relevant or in affect, then the peace-part of the treaty is also no longer relevant or in affect.

Consider your stance very carefully.

You already had TM fighting you over this issue.

VAAKO and MUJ is to honour the deal you accepted taking responsebility for your players action.

You are to repay everything and stop this bull.

And yes TM has every right as we made it clear from day one we do NOT condol bulliese and we do not accept deffending players like Vaako and what your doing now is letting him get away with his action.

Now Muj and you as well Smog has to honour the deal you accepted and take responsebilitise and make Vaako repay or repay your self for the damage and the extra as always.

I know you all like long posts but let me make a really short one to make the situation perfectly clear:

1. You signed said treaty.
