There is no reason why someone should sell much cheaper and buy m,uch more expensive at the same time.
Obviously value of the trade will be considered, the price discrepancy, as well as who were the recipients and sellers of resources when determining if someone will be banned or not.

If for example someone sells uu on main for 250k, and then after 1 week is in need of uu and pays 280k per uu, then this seems reasonable and will not be punished.

Again... you are looking at it as if someone is buying/selling.
We are pointing out that if someone is justSELLING. You would never know the difference.

KoS I think next set we will play and just build UP, and a few little stats. We will then sell UU for $ and sell it off cheap, and to cover the cost of buying the UU, we will let it get "taken" off us.

It makes no difference for me if you sell it for cash or if you give it away for free. Resource transfers will lead to a ban.

If I put it on the market at the low end of the scale, please tell me how you can tell that I sold it for $$?

To further emphasize seas point take a look at this:

Minimum Rate 1:125,072

that is kuwal for uu. i would gladly pay less than half the current rate if someone is stupid enough to put it that low.

now you have to pick out 4 different things.
1) did i trade for money?
2) did i accidently push a 1 instead of 2?
3) did i put it up there that low because i knew it would sell almost instantly?
4) am i just stupid and put it up there for a ridiculously low rate because i suck at the market and am a 8 year old playing xD

You're forgetting there's 5) and 6)

5) you are one sidedly pushing an advantage to a single player making the game unfair towards others
6) there was clearly some bug with getting the resources because nobody in their clear minds would sell for that low since even asking 50% more would make the deal get accepted instantly. So you would not get banned since it wasn't your fault that the resources were available that cheaply. Neither was it the buyers fault since they couldn't know it was a bug, so they will get told to report any further strange occurences. And to keep the game fair for everyone, the resources will simply get removed from the buyers account and they will receive whatever they paid plus interest.
