Trade Center
The trade center system will be very similar to other game systems however still be a bit different.
1) The volumes of resources available on the public market will be increased by a certain % of units killed and money and attack turns spent by the players. This will both serve to replenish the market in a way that reflects the use of these 3 resources (more at's used means more at's put on market meaning more at's available in one package) and as a way to increase package size that is consistent with the growth of the game, reducing artificial manipulation to a bare minimum (such as adjusting the rates of % of resources spent being put onto the market)
2) Every person will get 16 trade multiples per week instead of the traditional market turns. they can use them as they wish by trading one resource type for another.
3) Exchanging 5 trade multiple options (no actual resource input necesary) for a 24 hour Temporary Council Protection (It is invoked by the Supreme Council Short Term Protection Clause, allowing the supreme council responsible with overseeing the battles in this quadrant to interfere on a limited level to the extent that has been uniformly agreed by the Adran). This 24 hour protection can be invoked max 2 times per week.
4) 4 Trade multiples grants you a trade reserve. Max limit of trade reserves will be maybe 50-60 and will be used for a number of things. Such as an extra 48 hours of protection per week (cost 6 trade reserves). A Short protection lasting a few hours (1 trade reserve). Minor (5%) increase of raw bank size (2 trade reserves). Or even a protection from attacks for one week by one person (8 trade reserves).
So in effect having a built up stockpile of trade reserves can help immensely in your efforts should you need to make use of them but along with it comes a great price, which is that whilst you are building up your reserves your opponents will be using theirs to increase their growth.

Re: Trade Center
I would like to draw everyone's attention to this:
All trade actions on the public market get logged. I have scripts on my home computer that I'll be running regularly to check if people don't do this.
And seriously don't even try saving up a few trades and then doing one large hit some time later thinking just because you didn't hit immediately the script won't detect it.
Save me the time and yourself the nerves finding out you got banned by simply not trying to "be smart".
(And NO the script will not be autobanning anyone, however I've been playing these games for years I've seen many tricks and can very easily determine if someone is lucky or something more)
Thank you for reading this public service announcement
PS: I post this to make sure everyone understands 2 things.
Rules get enforced here!
I want people to play this game normally and to have fun and not to try and do their best to get to the top whatever the means used.
A friend uses the public market to get Kuwal for which you hit him immediately after the exchange is completed.

Re: Trade Center
I know of a few other people who loaned each other kuwal. As long as the net movement including inflation is close to 0 then it's no problem.october 17 wrote:my friend is going to do that (as a loan) so dont ban me watch me if you want i wil be paying him back
Obviously if you "wait" several months to repay you might get into trouble
Re: Trade Center
it might be a few weeks as he dont play alot now anyway bit if im close could you give me a heads up? also i intend to way over pay him when i do pay back (even with inflation)

Re: Trade Center
meh, it's not like i'll bother writing up a list, but you definitely get extra points for having told me. Otherwise shit could have happened

thanks
