It depends what region you live in and at what time you look.

LOL, no it doesn't. If you have the right items installed on FF you never see any ads on any webpage.
That and my work blocks most ad based items due to security breaches.

What you are saying is related if you see adspace or not.
You can block it with browser features or simply by turning it off through your user settings.
What I am talking about is when you have ads turned on and see them.
It works like this:
If you are in USA you see different ads than if you are in EU, and different if you are in Canada and different if you are elsewhere.
But if in one of these regions there is no advertising (because the adspace is too expensive for them), then there will be an image which has been set as default. This image is related to Aderan Wars (and shows all 4 characters from Aderan Wars.)

Re: New AW ads
if you turn them off you lose the 2% income, you can leave them on and collect the income but do ad blocking and siggy killin with FF.

For those of you out there that use ad-blocking script, I strongly suggest you go inform yourself on the impact it imply:

I'm am against that sort of script, as it's not fair toward people working hard to gives us online services...

Re: New AW ads
to clear this up, there's tons of the scripts online and I have already tested a few on my computer with various degrees of success.Admin wrote:yeh, once I got a good script to run i'll have fun giving people penalties for trying to cheat the system
it's really interesting what a few lines of javascript can do with someone's browser.
I was thinking about giving everyone who uses adblock and still has ads "turned on", to have their account produce simply 2% of their real income instead of the usual 102% they would produce

I think your missing something Kong.
You make your income, plus an extra 2% for having the ads on.
What admin is saying is, he may use a dirty lil trick so your account makes ONLY 2% of your income, not 102% when ads are turned on but blocked.
