losing more weapons than units? Empty losing more weapons than units?

"Weapons: Weapons dont get damaged anymore. If a unit dies, the weapon they were holding gets destroyed. Consequently repairing weapons has been removed "

I was farming since a few days, then when I came to the armory I noticed I had less attack weapons than units left, what was strange is that yesterday I had more attack weapons than units... I was then thinking I made a mistake when ordering weapons so I bought back the same amount of weapons than units, then I tryed to attack to see if I was actually losing more weapons than units, and yes, after each attack I lose 1 more weapons than units that die.

Check into this please?

how many more weapons did you have then units?

like did you have
10000 units and 10001 weapons
or
10000 units and 11000 weapons

I don't think it's important to know, this topic is about losing more weapons than units when attacking, when its suposed to be the same amount. No matter if I had 10000000000 more weapons than units, the only important thing is it should have been the same amount

I'm just reporting the bug, and I don't keep track of how many weapons/units I had everyday...

well it does matter..

In the updates if you have even numbers you lose 1:1

If you have less weapons then men you lose 20% of your weapons.

I was looking to see if it happened when you had more weapons.

I hope admin has a record of what you had.

Due to the large topic, it should be if less weapons then men you lose 20% if even or more weapons you lose 1:1.

When you report bugs its best to report all info even if you don't think its important. It helps get things taken care of faster.

I thought I made it pretty clear for thoses who know how to read in the first post:

I fail to see where it is not clear? Same amount mean a ratio of 1:1 units:weapons if you still don't understand. Losing more weapons than units even if I have less weapons than units. If it's still unclear then screw you, the friendly way of course Shocked

there's one minor coding issue that when it does the rounding of how many weapons you lose it always rounds up. So especially if you have different weapon types you might lose one or two more weps than soldiers

does You referring to this bug as "minor" mean you won't fix it?

Maybe you could round the number of weapons you lose down instead of up?

Considering its just one weapon, I don't see a really big problem with this.

1 or 2 weapons times 1000 it begin to add up. beside it's not as much as the problems it may cause, but it's really not profesional to keep bugs in the code just because "oh it's not that much of a big problem". if you leave all the buggy code, you may expect theses "minor bugs" to add up with later updates... real headache for a coder to leave bugs unresolved.

Keep it mind it's not just an esthetic or display bug, but it affect gameplay, it's more serious than a battle logs not showing correct information.

Simple solution. Have 1 weapon type; and don't have odd numbers.

Hm, I meant that a little different, but I can see how you'd get that.
The bug doesn't have to be a high priority issue, because it's easy to avoid. Smile

Fix is needed though, and ultimately, the sooner the better.

what "all the buggy code" are you talking about?

plus it's not actually a bug, I knew perfectly well what the outcome will be if I do it this way, just was the best solution that was available at the time.
if you use only one weapon class, which you should be doing anyway, you wont notice it
