yep it was but in my eye an act of war if he wanted me to stop farming him he just had to ask dont come at me in a hostle way i have set a few people to peace cause they asked me to and stopped farming them

however this time some1 has to learn the hard way

On August 11 Tackless-Shadow farmed me and set me too war. My strategy at that point was to set him to peace. A few days later, he farmed me twice more (this was after he set me to war).
My intention was to make myself a less desirable target since immediately raising my defence sufficiently was not an option. So I set him back to neutral since my retaliatory options were limited when peace was the setting.
Also, if anyone is concerned about Tackless-Shadows' statement that this is a fair fight; he does have two officers.

Publicly to Tackless-Shadow: If I knew that asking you to stop farming would be successful, I would have done that. So I should have tried the diplomatic route before sabbing (unsuccessfully). I apologize for the sab attempt and would be interested in ending the war, farming, and any sab attempts.

after speaking wit rapmater via PM's we are now at peace and there are no grudges been held on either side
